The Citizens are the biggest favorites on the soccer odds board for this weekend's Premier League slate. How can we best exploit those lines and make some money?

Odds Overview
As one would expect with the Citizens being at home, the soccer odds are very much in their favor this weekend. City is quoted at -375 to win outright at a lot of the major sportsbooks, which leaves West Ham as massive +1000 (roughly) underdogs.

A draw doesn't seem all that likely either given the gulf in quality between these two teams, and oddsmakers agree, listing that option at approximately +500 for now. Keep tabs on the live line movement leading up to kickoff at SBRodds.com.

Manchester City
You better believe the Citizens are going to be out for blood this weekend after losing a heart-breaker at home to Juventus in Champions League group play during the week.

City had taken a 1-0 lead early in the second half through a Giorgio Chiellini own goal, but the Italian giants stayed the course and rewarded for their efforts with two goals, in the 70th minute and then the 81st minute. The Citizens had plenty of possession (59 percent), and managed three times as many total shots (12 to four) as Juventus, but simply couldn't cash in on their opportunities. City now has an early hole to try and dig out of in the group stages.

The Citizens, however, remain on top of the Premier League table, as they've won each of their first five matches outright to earn the maximum 15 points. They've posted a nice +11 goal differential during that span, and now look primed to add another victory to that tally this weekend on their home turf.

West Ham
We've already seen quite a rollercoaster of a season for the Hammers, as they've recorded a couple excellent wins but also dropped points where they shouldn't have. Overall though, the results have been mostly positive, as they find themselves in fifth place in the EPL with nine points out of a possible 15.

The two standout victories for the Hammers so far both came away from home, with the team beating Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates during opening weekend and then dismantling Liverpool at Anfield a few weeks later. They've already proven they're going to be a menace, regardless of whether or not they're at home or on the road, so City will be wary of the challenge ahead of them.

After the emphatic win over the Reds, West Ham kept momentum high with another clean sheet victory, this time over Newcastle at Boleyn Ground. In the 2-0 win, Dimitri Payet was the hero, as he scored both goals, one in each half. The Hammers only had the ball for 40 percent of the match yet still seemed in control of the proceedings, as evident by the final result.

Premier League Pick
There's no way we're going to fade City in this spot.

Some may be scared off after that loss to Juventus, but we're expecting a big-time bounce-back from the Citizens at home. They'll want to make it up to their supporters and will face a much weaker opponent in the Hammers; sure, West Ham has picked up two impressive away victories over Arsenal and Liverpool already this season, but City is on another level and will be tremendously difficult to contain on Saturday.

So, we know what side we're going to be taking, but how do we maximize our soccer picks? In order to avoid the chalk that comes with a strict moneyline play, we are picking City to win by at least two goals at the Etihad. The Citizens should dominate possession and ultimately control this match from start to finish.

Predicted Final Score: Manchester City 2 West Ham 0
