It's been a very frustrating season for Liverpool so far, but the Reds will enter as the favorites on the soccer odds board for this weekend's home date with Norwich City.

Odds Overview
A wide range of soccer odds can be found for Sunday's match at Anfield. Some sportsbooks have the line at -150, while others go as high as -170. If you want to back Norwich City instead, you can find them available at odds approaching +500.

As for a draw, that option is trading at approximately +300 at most of the sites we've checked over. There's still plenty of time for the odds to move, particularly if more updates come on with regards to various player injuries, so keep tabs with the movement at SBRodds.com.

Things were looking pretty good after the Reds opened the season with a couple victories, but they've since seen a sharp downtick in fortunes over recent weeks. They've failed to win any of their last four matches across all competitions and, as a result, have fallen to 10th (right alongside Norwich) in the Premier League table.

Most recently, Liverpool took part in Europa League play with a 1-1 away draw versus Bordeaux. Adam Lallana made a successful return by scoring the Reds' only goal, yet the club was still unable to pick up a victory.

Injuries haven't helped the cause at all, with Lallana having just returned and captain Jordan Henderson still out of commission. Likewise for Daniel Sturridge, who is nearing a return but is still not ready to crack the starting XI again just yet.

Norwich City
All in all, you'd have to say it's been an impressive start to the Premier League campaign for the Canaries. They've already earned two wins and are at seven points for the season, which puts them in a tie with this weekend's opponent, Liverpool.

Last Saturday we witnessed Norwich City take care of newly-promoted Bournemouth with a 3-1 win. Cameron Jerome, Wesley Hoolahan and Matthew Jarvis all made their way onto the scoresheet, with the away side's late goal in the 81st minute acting as nothing more than a consolation. It was an outstanding result for Norwich in front of the 27,000+ strong at Carrow Road.

This weekend's trip to Merseyside figures to be much more difficult, altthough Norwich City will still fancy their chances after such a strong start to their season. So far the Canaries have split their two league matches away from home, beating Sunderland 3-1 but losing to Southampton 3-0. Can they get the job done at Anfield on Sunday and make an even bigger push up the table?

Premier League Pick
Listen, we're not going to sit here and pretend like it's been a peachy season for the Reds. Far from it. Liverpool has been incredibly disappointing so far this season despite spending a ton of money once again over the summer, and all of a sudden a lot of people are calling for Rodgers' head.

The good news for him and the rest of Liverpool is that this weekend's fixture is a very winnable one.

Some will be hesitant to go anywhere near the Reds, and we don't blame them based on recent form, but things really can only go up from here, and being back at home should be a boost. At least you'd like to think so. Liverpool has a lot more quality within its ranks and should be able to do enough to get the win and all three points in this spot.

So, with our soccer picks, we'll roll with the Reds to win at the reasonable soccer odds of -150. If you're feeling frisky, you could side with them to win by two or more goals, which would obviously offer an even nicer return.

Predicted Final Score: Liverpool 2 Norwich City 0

Premier League Soccer Pick: Liverpool -147 at Pinnacle
