Will the Citizens bounce back after a relatively disappointing campaign? The soccer odds suggest Manchester City will be challenging for the title, and we're here to preview their chances of doing just that.

Odds Overview
The only team listed ahead of Manchester City on the soccer odds futures list is Chelsea, the reigning champions who are favorites to repeat and do it all over again in 2015/16.

The Blues are at +160 to win the title, with the Citizens right behind at +300 at 5Dimes for now. This is a team that's made a couple big moves, a team that has a lot of talent and will surely be challenging for the top spot. A lot of people are going to write City off after a disappointing 2014/15 campaign, but that could prove to be a mistake.

Manchester City: 2014/15 Recap
One season after winning both the Premier League and the Capital One Cup, Manchester City was unable to get on the board with any kind of trophy this past season. The Citizens finished in second place in the league, lost in the Community Shield, bowed out in the Round of 16 in the Champions League and lost in the FA Cup and Capital One Cup in the fourth round.

For a team as talented as City, a squad filled to the brim with talent and depth at all positions, it was a big letdown. Sure, there were bright spots, as Joe Hart has a resurgent season and really stamped down his claim as the best English goalkeeper out there and the likes of David Silva and Sergio Aguero were able to make their mark as well, despite injuries here and there.

However, this is a team that should be winning trophies each and every season, so second place and an absence of silverware simply wasn't acceptable to supporters and the team's staff as well. Manuel Pellegrini was able to keep his job despite the letdown in 2015/16, but he could find himself on thin ice if his Citizens aren't able to claim their spot atop the Premier League once again.

Manchester City: 2015/16 Look-Ahead
When a team underperforms, it's natural to expect changes, but it's not like City overreacted by making wholesale moves and starting anew. The Citizens said goodbye to the likes of Frank Lampard, James Milner and Alvaro Negredo among others, but they only brought in two new pieces, albeit two very strong pieces.

The standout deal was, of course, for former Liverpool man Raheem Sterling, who was bought for 49 million pounds by City. Sterling will immediately step into the starting XI and gives the Citizens an added dimension thanks to his lightning quick pace and overall potential, but some have speculated whether the team overpaid for his services.

Nevertheless, City should be a force in 2015/16, as the addition of Fabian Delph also fills a need and shores up the Citizens in the middle of the park. With Delph and Yaya Toure patrolling the middle and Silva, Aguero, Sterling, Samir Nasri, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic (just to name a few) wrecking havoc further up the pitch, we're not going to sleep on Pellegrini's men at all.

Indeed, we like these available soccer odds, as we know the motivation will be there for City to reclaim their throne and overtake Chelsea as the best of the best in England. The squad is looking strong, and we know the manager has plenty of success and knows how to guide his teams to titles; we should be expecting nothing less in 2015/16.

With your soccer picks, you should strongly consider City and know that soccer odds makers may be undervaluing them after last season's "disappointments".
