Premier League match day 24 features a whole slew of midweek, must-spot games. Here’s a rundown of all the action, complete with soccer odds and select soccer picks.

Match Day 23 Recap
As we enter match day 24, Leicester City, to the chagrin of their detractors, are sat atop the Premier League table. The Foxes outfoxed Stoke City 3-0 to clinch all three points and improve to 13-8-2 and 47 points, three points clear of title favorites Man City and second title faves Arsenal in the Premier League table. The former succumbed to a 2-2 draw while the latter lost to Chelsea 1-0 in the last lap around England’s top flight and will be looking to bounce back in the coming week, surely.

Elsewhere, the Spurs continued their solid form with a win over Crystal Palace, Liverpool edged Norwich City in a veritable goal-fest 5-4, and Southampton dealt Louis Van Gaal and the Red Devils yet another setback after clinching the 1-0 win at the Old Trafford. Finally, Chelsea moved seven points clear of the drop zone on the heels of their pivotal win over Arsenal, assuaging fans and the real fears of relegation.

Here’s a look at match day 24 soccer odds according to Bet365 and some top games to spot on your soccer picks below.

Arsenal vs. Southampton
Arsenal will be looking to bounce back when they host Southampton at Anfield Stadium, but the last time they met the Saints they suffered an awful 4-0 defeat. Most recently, they succumbed to a disappointing 1-0 loss to Chelsea at Anfield, marking their third straight Premier League game without a win. There are those soccer bettors that might look at this run of form as a sign the Gunners might be slowing down. There’s also FA Cup to consider this weekend against Burnley, which may appear on paper as a straightforward affair but it still presents an added match Arsene Wenger will need to be mindful of when making team selections for two games in a short span of time. As it is, Arsenal at -138 soccer odds seems too pricey of a bet when there’s some uncertainty about form. Of course, you’ll find better soccer odds pf -124 at Pinnacle and Heritage if you’re looking to back the Gunners to the win. For our money, we’re of a mind to hedge our bets with a draw or Southampton win at +115. Southampton have had Arsenal’s number in the last two meetings, winning by a combined 6-0. Granted both those wins were at St. Mary’s. Winning at Anfield isn’t going to be a cakewalk, but with Arsenal mired in a pivotal FA Cup clash this weekend, they could be there for the taking only a few days later.

Leicester City vs. Liverpool
Both the Foxes and Reds are coming off superb wins in round 23 of Premier League betting. The Foxes stifled the Potters 3-0 while the Reds outgunned Norwich in a nine-goal extravaganza. Based on last week’s accounts, betting on the totals holds some appeal – from betting on totals outright such as the OVER 2.5 at +110 at William Hill or a combined bet on Both Teams to Score and the Total to go OVER 2.5 at +138 at William Hill. In fact, those soccer odds are a bit surprising, considering the Foxes are the second highest scoring in the league after Man City.

Those looking to bank on the Foxes at home for the win, they strike an attractive pose as the +140 soccer pick. Once again, odds makers refuse to corner this game in their camp with firmly favorable odds. Markets continue to expect the Foxes to trip up, even though they have just two losses on the season. What’s more, they are 8-4-1 at home while the Reds are 5-3-4 on the road.

Man United vs. Stoke City
Man United with its current crop of players is beatable, so say many soccer betting experts and analysts. Heck, even Harry Redknapp is suitably unimpressed by this instalment of the Red Devils, an opinion that was underscored by last week’s lacklustre defeat to Southampton at the Old Trafford. Stoke City might not be of the same calibre, but the Potters are a stoic lot that can make it difficult for opponents if not stun them altogether. Some of the eyebrow raising results in recent rounds include holding Arsenal to a scoreless draw at the Pottery and defeating Everton 4-3 at Goodison Park. Not least of all, they beat Manchester United 2-0 at the Potteries on Boxing Day and, even, Man City 2-0 earlier in the month of December. Other scalps this season include a 1-0 win over Southampton on the road and holding West Ham to a scoreless draw. Given these credible accounts both home and away, we’re reluctant to write off Stoke City from our soccer picks. So we’re looking at the outright win at the whopping price tag of +475 at Pinnacle or, for those cooler heads, the double chance bet of Stoke City win or Draw at +105 at William Hill.
