Stoke vs. Arsenal Game Preview
After the heartbreak of a last gasp equaliser conceded at Anfield on Wednesday night, Arsene Wenger has to rally his Arsenal troops for yet another tough Premier League clash at the weekend, this time against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium. The weather is going to be below freezing in the UK at the weekend, with the coldest temperatures of the winter and that will only suit one team, the host.

This has always been a very, very tough place for the Gunners' to visit and no team in the Premier League has a better record against them than Stoke do at the Britannia, and with sub-zero temperatures expected, I can't see The Gunners' fancying this one.

The Wenger Boys have only travelled back to the capital with one win in their last 10 trips to the Potteries, and there seems no value at all in the odds-on quotes with all the layers on an away win.

Last year, Stoke won this fixture 3-2 in a decent match-up and the last time they were beaten by the Gunners' was way back in 2010, and at 4/5 with BetVictor, Mark Hughes' team are still one, if not the most underrated sides in the Premier League.

It's going to take a lot of Wenger's man management skills to get his side straight up of this after the midweek 3-3 classic at Anfield, and in their previous away match they were hammered 4-0 at Southampton and with form like that, they just can't be trusted at odds-on.

There has been an awful lot of draws in recent clashes in this fixture, and the stalemate is a big runner again at the weekend, and that is what is putting me off taking the 4.50 on home win for my soccer picks.

The best way to play in this one is to take Stoke on the double chance market at the 1.95 with Bet365 as that will see us collect on both the home win and the draw, and Arsenal on the road just aren't a betting proposition at the moment, despite pretty sitting at the top of the table.

Hughes' has totally changed the way this Stoke side play, and with big Premier League home wins already this season against Chelsea, Man City and Man United, they won't be fazed at all by this challenge.

Betting Analysis
The game plan in every one of those victories was to come out of the traps flying, and with the talented trio of Marko Arnautovic, Bojan and Xherdan Shaqir, they can cause problems for any defense, and this Arsenal one is creaking at present conceding SEVEN goals in their last two away matches, and I believe that they will concede again at the weekend. The 1.91 at William Hill on both teams scoring looks value as well.

This has the potential to be a decent match, and one that TV viewers should enjoy and with over 2.5 goals a winner in four of Stokes' last five matches, and in 10 of the last 12 away matches in Arsenal games, goals are expected to be on the Sunday lunch-time menu again this weekend and the 2.05 with Coral and William Hills soccer odds boards for the over 2.5 goals market looks a decent play as well.
