Recent History & Trends
Chelsea versus Manchester United was once a match which was a must watch for all footy fans around the globe in any Premier League season, but this weekend's clash is a game that means very little to anyone other than supporters of both of these famous clubs. This is being billed as the "biggest" Premier League game of the weekend, it's certainly not that and the viewers look set to be very disappointed.

The Blues' are the favorites for the "Super" Sunday clash at 2.15 with Bet365, but what have they done to be given such short quotes by the layers? Nothing, that's what. Although they are unbeaten in the 10 matches under Guus Hiddink, the performances have been far from impressive. Under the Dutchman, Chelsea have won five games, but four of those wins were against Scunthorpe, Sunderland, Crystal Palace and MK Dons.

In midweek, the champions played their part in the worst 90-minutes I've seen this season, and in many a season in the goalless draw at Watford and to me they look a side that are just going through the motions in the Premier League and seem to be a totally different side in the FA Cup and Champions League.

Betting Analysis & Game Overview
United arrive in West London on the back of their best performance of the season with the midweek 3-0 success over Stoke at Old Trafford, but I really can't see them playing with the same kind of swagger again on Sunday. Louis van Gaal is still talking up their title chances and if they are to have any chance of winning the Premier League, they will need to win every one of their remaining fixtures, it's not going to happen.

The visitors are very big at 4.10 with BetVictor to get the win at Stamford Bridge, and compared to the Chelsea price, that does look rather generous, but it's all about the draw for me at 3.40 with Betfred. The two played out a goalless draw at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture, and with Chelsea just going through the motions in the league, they still don't want to lose to their arch-rivals, but I don't think either side are good enough to be backed for the win.

Last year Chelsea won this fixture 1-0 and another tight match looks on the cards and under 2.5 goals looks a certainty to me, but the bookies agree making it just a 1.60 chance to happen with BoyleSports. One goal looks enough to win this match, and it's highly likely that we won't get a goal, and under 1.5 goals in the match looks the much better soccer pick at the more workmanlike price of 2.74, which is available with most of the layers rather than the short soccer odds on under 2.5 goals.

No goalscorer in the match for an unwanted double in the two matches that these two sides have played this season is a serious contender, and I don't think the bookmakers have looked too closely into the games statistics with quotes of 8.00 with almost all of them on a goal not being scored and that's a small play for all punters.
