Being in Champions League, Europe’s biggest competition, represents a major accomplishment for all the qualified teams. All of them are aiming to go as far as possible, but the big names are targeting silverware in the coming campaign. Next Champions League campaign will be the 63rd season of Europe's biggest tournament organized by UEFA, and the 26th campaign since it was renamed Champions League.

The 2017-18 Champions League final will be played at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev on May 26, 2018. Real Madrid made history becoming the first team to win back-to-back Champions League trophies after defeating Juventus in this season's final (4-1). They are amongst the favorites to win next year's UCL trophy at +500 with Bet365. Winning UCL and La Liga this past season guarantees Cristiano Ronaldo a fifth Ballon d'Or title, bringing him level with Messi.

The English Premier League is giving four teams qualified automatically in the group stage (Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City plus Manchester United as Europa League winners) with the 5th, Liverpool, playing in the qualification stages. The English teams have big transfer budgets and need to spend big to compete with the big names and maintain hopes for the Champions League trophy. It will be tough for them to perform at their highest level in both competitions.

Last season, Manchester City qualified in the Champions League knockout stages but struggled to keep a good performance in both UCL and EPL. We expect the record for the world’s most expensive player (Paul Pogba, Manchester United) to be beaten this summer as most of the major clubs in Europe are bidding for Monaco’s rising star Kylian Mbappe. An interesting market for the English teams qualified in the European Cups (including Champions League): any team to win a European trophy (No at -285, Yes at +190 both with Unibet). To win the Champions League: Manchester City at +1200, Chelsea at +1400, Manchester United at +1600 and Tottenham and Liverpool both at +2500 with Betfair.

The Spanish La Liga is giving three teams in the group stage (Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid) and one playing the playoffs (Sevilla). Barcelona and Real Madrid are the favorites to win the trophy being priced at +500 with Bet365. It will be amazing if Real Madrid will win for the 3rd consecutive year. Madrid has maintained its 100% success rate in UEFA Champions League finals, winning six out of six, so if you see it in the finals you know what you have to do.

Barcelona’s star players (Messi, Suarez and Neymar) are eager to revenge last season’s Champions League results and will push for a win. Atletico Madrid will not be able to sign new players until January 2018 after the Court of Arbitration upheld its transfer ban but the club is happy with Antoine Griezmann’s decision to remain with the team until 2022. A clever way to bet on the Spanish team in the Champions League is: winning Nationality, Spain, at +150 with Bet365. Atletico Madrid are priced at +1600 with BetVictor to win the trophy.

We have three Italian teams in Champions League. Last season’s runner-up Juventus and Serie A second-place AS Roma both playing directly in the group stage. Napoli is qualified in the UCL playoffs with big chances to arrive in the group stage. Juventus is priced at +1000 to win the competition, but we don’t expect it to arrive again that far.

Bundesliga’s Bayern Munich might be the team to watch and bet on.  It is a third favorite after Barcelona and Real Madrid and being priced at +550 with William Hill. Bayern is going far every season but its last Champions League trophy was in 2013. For sure we will have different odds when the season will start in August, but right now the best value bet is:

Free Soccer Pick: Winning Nationality, Spain (+150)Best Line Offered: Bet365
