Águila tries to end Deportivo Saprissa's impressive unbeaten streak at home when the teams clash in the first leg of their Concacaf League Round of 16 series.

The game takes place tonight at 10:00 PM ET at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa in Costa Rica and Deportivo Saprissa is a -352 favorite. Águila is at +1032 and the Draw is at +408. 5Dimes set the total at 2.5.

Deportivo Saprissa has not lost at home in 15 straight games. Their last loss at 'La Cueva' was on January 30, 2019 in a Costa Rican Primera División game against Cartaginés and they have registered 10 wins and five draws at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa since.

Only Alajuelense, Pérez Zeledón, San Carlos (twice) and Cartaginés were able to leave Estadio Ricardo Saprissa with points in those 15 games. Cartaginés stunned Saprissa with a last-minute goal in their 2-2 draw last Saturday night, which cost the home team a chance to keep pace with Alajuelense in the Costa Rican Primera División standings. Saprissa is in second place, three points behind Alajuelense.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Lost in the weeds from the fallout of TFC’s embarrassment in Panama..

Saprissa 🇨🇷 took down Liga MX giants Tigres 1-0. The lead won’t likely last in the 2nd leg, but this is only Tigres 2nd loss of 2019. Big night for the underdogs in CCL! pic.twitter.com/LRnFrERqzg
— MLS Buzz (@MLS_Buzz) February 20, 2019
"}[/]

Águila wants to prevent Saprissa from scoring and having control of the pace at home. A draw would benefit the road team because the second leg will be played in El Salvador so look for them to play without a sense of urgency, slowing the game down.

Goals from Javier Lazcano and Diego Galdamez helped Águila beat Jocoro FC in their Salvadoran Primera División game last Saturday and they are second in the standings, one point behind Alianza FC.

Saprissa reached the Round of 16 after eliminating Belmopan Bandits from Belize with consecutive 3-1 wins while Águila didn't have to play in the preliminary round.

The three players to watch for Águila will be their star goalkeeper Benji Villalobos, Uruguayan creative midfielder Joaquín Vergés and Paraguayan forward Javier Lezcano.

Villalobos has played for the Salvadoran national team, he has a lot of experience and he was the goalkeeper with least goals conceded in last year's Salvadoran Primera División.

Keep an eye on Saprissa stars Johan Venegas, Christian Bolaños and Manfred Ugalde. Bolaños and Venegas have great chemistry on the field and they've been on fire in the last few weeks while the 17-year-old Ugalde missed the last two Costa Rica Primera División games because of a suspension but he is a talented prospect that has speed, dribbling skills and proven ability to score.

Having Manfred Ugalde back will make a big difference for Saprissa but I like this experienced Águila roster and Benji Villalobos can have a big night, helping the Under.

Free Soccer Pick: Under 2.5 (+110) at 5Dimes
