The top two teams in the Major League Soccer league face off today with Washington DC United hosting the New England Revolution. We offer two ways to profit with soccer picks.

DC United
DC having lost their past two league games and needed extra time to get past second tier team Pittsburgh Rivershounds in the cup, finally winning 3-1. Their four point lead at the top of the table could start to drift away if they do not start to win again. They have played as many as four games more than the chasing pack.

Whilst the overall form isn’t great, the home form looks strong still, with the loss to Toronto in their previous game in the capital their only defeat of the season.

That same home also shows plenty of scope for a both teams to score bet, with seven of their 10 matches in front of their own fans seeing both sides find the back of the net.

The Revolution
If DC’s form looks a bit sketchy, Revolution’s results look desperate for a side second in the division. They have just one win in eight matches in all competitions.

New England's latest loss came on Wednesday, when they were beatin in the U.S. Open Cup by third-tier club Charlotte Independence 1-0.

They have only won two away games all season too, beating Colorado Rapids and Philly, so nothing to write home about there! They have the fourth worst defence in the division and have conceded an average of two a game (14) on the travels.

Soccer Pick
New England travel to the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium for their clash with the East's leaders, having only won once in their past five trips to Washington and I don’t expect that to change here. Although both are out of form, the home advantage will tell here, with both teams scoring.

Free Soccer Pick: DC United win and both teams to score 4.8 (19/5) with William Hill
