It's a fresh start for both Crystal Palace and Norwich as we get set to start the 2015-16 Premier League campaign. Which one of these sides should we back with our finalized soccer picks?

Odds Overview
If you're looking for the most competitive match of the opening playday in the 2015-2016 Premier League season, this one may be it. The Premier League odds board confirms that notion, as Norwich City is available for backing at +150 and Crystal Palace is right behind at roughly +175.

A draw is certainly within reason here, with that option priced out at just over +200 on the soccer odds board.

Norwich City
The Canaries were knocked out early in the cup competitions last season, but they couldn't have cared less. That's because they were one of the three teams to earn a promotion from the Championship up to the Premier League, meaning they'll be partaking in England's top flight campaign once again after a brief time away.

Newly-promoted teams, however, never find it all that easy to stay for a while, especially since the league has continued to get more and more competitive with each passing year. There's a lot of money at stake now, so even earning the right to play in the Premier League for all of those TV revenues has been huge for a club like Norwich City. Whether or not the Canaries are able to stay up this coming season and avoid relegation right back to the second level remains to be seen.

When perusing over the current squad, which names stand out most? It would have to be a few new arrivals, starting with their most expensive asset: Robbie Brady. Brady cost seven million pounds from Hull City and will be joined by former West Brom pair Graham Dorrans and Youssouf Mulumbu and Jake Kean as fresh pieces of the puzzle for manager Alex Neil to play with.

Crystal Palace
Though right around the relegation zone early in the 2014-15 Premier League campaign, the Eagles really hit their stride over the second half of the season, and the guidance of former Newcastle man Alan Pardew was crucial the cause. Palace finished in 10th place in the league, which all in all is an amazing accomplishment for the club.

There will be a lot more continuity with Pardew locked in as the manager for now and another solid group returning for the new domestic season. The squad is largely unchanged from 2014-15 in terms of new additions, but a number of old players were released, and the two arrivals should help out the depth and overall quality quite a bit.

The standout signing, of course, was Yohan Cabaye, who was signed for 10 million pounds from Paris Saint-Germain. The midfielder immediately becomes one of Palace's most influential players, and it was a real signal of intent for the club to even go after a player of his caliber. Other key components are Yannick Bolasie (though he's currently being rumored to be leaving), Dwigt Gayle, Glenn Murray, and captain Mile Jedinak. Jordon Mutch also figures to play a bigger role after dealing with injury last season.

Premier League Pick
We don't see much difference in quality between these teams, so we feel it's in our best interest to recommend a small wager on the draw.

Norwich City proved they've got grit when they earned their way back into the Premier League. We know the Canaries will be getting great support from the home crowd now that they're back in the top flight, and they're going to prove tough to difficult on their own stomping grounds. At the same time, the Eagles were quite a threat last season once Alan Pardew took over, and they even pulled off a number of impressive results away from home.

As a result, we're looking for a deadlock at the end of the day when Norwich City and Crystal Palace meet up. With your soccer picks, consider adding the draw to your collection for this showdown at Carrow Road.
