This weekend the Coppa Italia final takes place, with this year's installment featuring Napoli and Fiorentina.

They're currently trading at +125 or so, with Fiorentina not too far behind at +250. As far as the total goes, the UNDER 2.5 goals is getting more love from the public at the moment.

Fiorentina
Viola has followed up their 2012/13 campaign with a very similar showing this season, at least when talking about the league.

It looks like the club will once again finish in the fourth spot in Serie A, which will once again keep them out of the Champions League qualifying for next season – they will instead have to compete in the Europa League.

Still, we shouldn't dismiss what Fiorentina has done this term. They've ahead of renowned giants like Inter Milan and AC Milan and also find themselves competing for the Coppa Italia trophy. If you had offered that kind of showing to Viola supporters before the season began, they would've surely taken it no questions asked.

In terms of recent form, Fiorentina comes in on the heels of a dominant 3-0 away win over Bologna, this coming a week after their tough 1-0 home loss to Roma. In the victory, Juan Cuadrado had a brace and Josip Ilicic also got a goal.

Cuadrado has been a good source of goalscoring for Viola this term, but it's Giuseppe Rossi that's been the most influential figure for the club. Unfortunately, he's been recovering from knee ligament damage and hasn't played since January – luckily for the club there's a chance he'll be available for selection here in the cup final. What a boost that would be.

Napoli
Not only will Napoli be competing for a trophy this weekend, but they've also locked up a spot in next year's Champions League.

The Blues will finish the Serie A campaign in third place, as they're currently eight points clear of Fiorentina with three matches remaining on the schedule. It would take a monumental collapse for Napoli to cough it up.

We reckon the Blues will be raring to go after getting pushed to their limits over the last few weeks. Following a tremendous 4-2 win over Lazio, they've found it very difficult in consecutive draws with Udinese (1-1) and Inter (0-0).

Still, Napoli enters as the favorite to win the cup and for good reason. They've got a lot of fantastic talent, starting of course with leading scorer Gonzalo Hiquain, who has 24 goals in all competitions for the club in 2013/14.

But, Hiquain isn't the only one to watch out for. Jose Callejon has been a presence going forward, while Dries Mertens has made a fantastic impact in his first season since joining from PSV Eindhoven. Don't forget about Pepe Reina in goal either.

Serie A Pick
What have we seen in this season's meetings between Fiorentina and Napoli?

Two terrific matches. Napoli won 2-1 away in the first head-to-head encounter in late October, but Viola returned the favor by winning 1-0 in San Paolo last month. Both matches were highly competitive and we should be seeing a similar tempo in this weekend's cup decider.

Ultimately, a winner has to emerge as the champion and we believe it'll be Napoli. They've got some real match-winners littered within their squad and their vast experience should hold them in good stead as well. At the short soccer betting odds of +125, we recommend picking a narrow win for the Blues.

Pick: Fiorentina 1 Napoli 2
