It all comes down to this. Host nation Chile will try to delight the crowd when they take on Lionel Messi and mighty Argentina. Who should we favor with our soccer picks?

Odds Overview
What a fascinating final this will be. Chile is the host nation and as a result you know it's going to be quite a special atmosphere inside Estadio Nacional Julio Martinez Pradanos in Santiago. The supporters have been an instrumental part of Chile's success so far in the tournament, and now they have a chance to root on their heroes against the Argentineans.

As for the soccer betting odds, we currently see Messi and company installed as the favorites. They're at roughly +115 to secure the victory, which leaves an opportunity to back Chile in the +275 to +300 range

Chile
Fueled by an intensity that few, if any, teams have been able to match so far in the Copa America, Chile has fought admirably en route to the final. The Chileans have yet to taste victory, going unbeaten in the group stages before overcoming Uruguay (1-0) in the quarter-finals and then Peru (2-1) in the semis.

It was an incredibly tense match against the Peruvians, who put up an admirable fight against the favorites. Chile, however, got a brace from Eduardo Vargas, with the second coming in spectacular fashion on a terrific strike from outside the box. The hosts held on from there to book their spot in the finals.

Vargas didn't have the most prolific of club seasons in the Premier League, but he's certainly made an impact in the Copa America, scoring a team-leading four goals thus far. Arturo Vidal has been a big part of the campaign too, netting three goals from the midfield, while Charles Aranguiz has scored twice himself. Other key contributors include Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez and the hard-nosed Gary Medel.

Argentina
So far things have mostly gone as planned for Argentina. They went unbeaten in the group stages, with the only non-victory coming in a 2-2 draw against Paraguay, who they would later go on to annihilate come the knockout rounds.

In the quarters, Argentina needed penalties to get past a strong Colombia outfit, but then turned on the style in the semi-finals against Paraguay, winning 6-1. Interestingly enough, Messi didn't even find the back of the net in the dominant win, though he did have a massive impact on the match nonetheless, picking up three assists. Angel di Maria scored twice, with Marcos Rojo, Javier Pastore, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain also scoring. As you can see, this Argentina team is stacked, especially in attack.

Messi has only scored once in the competition so far, but he's still been a terror each and every match, making his unbelievable ability known throughout. Aguero has scored a team-best three goals, Di Maria and Higuain have both scored a couple times each.

Copa America Pick
Yes, Argentina has the more talented overall team, and will have the best player on the field in Messi, but talent doesn't always win out over everything else.

That's especially true in circumstances such as this. Chile has reached this point of the competition through sheer passion and determination, and they're not about to back down now that they're one win away from glory for their country.

That's not to say Chile doesn't have quality either. With the likes of Sanchez and Vidal, there's plenty of star power within that squad too. We simply believe the Chileans will want this more, and therefore we're going to back them at these very appealing soccer odds (+275) this weekend. Some may think this will be a walk in the park for Messi, Aguero and the rest of the gang, but we're going the other way with our soccer picks.

Pick: Chile 2 Argentina 1
