The 2015 edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup officially gets underway on Tuesday evening, with Panama and Haiti set to go at it. Who should we be selecting with our final soccer picks?

Panama vs. Haiti: CONCACAF Odds Overview
We should be seeing some one-sided matches throughout the group stages, and this match could indeed be one of those. Panama is the firm favorite on the soccer odds board, listed at right around -180 at 5Dimes to get the three points.

Haiti is a massive underdog here, priced out at +645, with a draw (+304) also considered a longshot. Be sure to keep checking back with to see if you can spot a weak spot in the odds and get the best number out there. Shopping for the most appealing lines is a crucial part of success in your handicapping endeavors.

Rewind back two years. Panama had a chance to surprise the masses by winning the Gold Cup, but they fell just short in the final against the USA. Brek Shea's goal in the 69th minute was all the Americans needed in the 1-0 victory, a loss that surely hasn't been forgotten by many Panamanians.

You better believe Panama is ready to return to the competition and try and make up for their shortcomings in 2013. They've got quite a talented group back and ready to compete, with the squad featuring MLS talents like goalkeeper Jamie Penedo, Gabriel Torres and Blas Perez.

Both Perez and Torres have been making their presence felt in the Major League Soccer betting landscape this season. Perez has scored five times in 14 league appearances for Dallas, while Torres has found the back of the net four times in 17 appearances. This is a group that was just one point away from qualifying for last year's World Cup, so they'll be eager to make an impression on the international stage, starting with an emphatic win over Haiti.

It's safe to say Haiti is the biggest underdog to advance out of this tough group that features USA, Honduras and Panama, three teams that are considered some of the top favorites to advance four in the tournament. Only two teams will move on from the group, however, and there's a good chance Haiti's results will be the most important.

The Haitians may be the small fish in the pond, but we know they're going to go all out since they have nothing to lose. They're going to try and spoil the party for the rest of the group, and it wouldn't be all that surprising to see them do just that. Haiti has qualified for the Gold Cup five times but has only advanced out of the group stages twice, and they'll be looking to make that three this year.

Key players to watch include Jean Sony Alcenat, Kervens Belfort and captain Johnny Placide - we'll have to see who makes the biggest impact in the team's first taste of competition against a strong Panama outfit.

Gold Cup Pick
While Panama has the talent and experience to make a run and perhaps even reach the finals again, the same cannot be said for Haiti. This should be a relatively big mismatch, so we're going to side with the favorites in the group opener.

With USA and Honduras also in their group, Panama knows how important it'll be to get all three points in their "easiest" match. We expect them to come out focused and determined in all facets of the game, and their quality should be able to shine through against the Haitians.

With that said, we're adding Panama to our soccer picks for Tuesday night; you may want to consider backing them to win by at least two goals in order to get a better return.
