This should be a tough match as neither side has any real benefit in opening the game up. It may not be pretty but it can be profitable, so check out what bet we have for you.

Saturday's World Cup Quarterfinals

Sweden v England (10 a.m. ET)

Free World Cup Pick: 1H Draw

Best Line Offered: Bet365

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3391157, "sportsbooksIds":[43,169,180,1389,1275], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Note: Complete first-half odds were not available at press time. Odds shown are full-game moneyline.

Right after watching England is probably not a good time to write this. My heart-rate is still elevated after that penalty shoot-out and I need to take a minute before I try to evaluate the football I’ve seen and the match I’ll be watching on Saturday between Sweden and England.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t think much of Sweden from its game against Switzerland. A deflected shot that probably wouldn’t have gone in anyway was just about fitting for that match and it’s certainly not a match I’ll be winding the tape back (yes I lived through the 1980s) for any time soon.

Colombia v England was better, both sides had chances, thankfully England had more and also looked the better side. The late equalizer was gutting and when it went to penalties, I (like a lot of England fans I’m sure) expected the worst.

I said before the match that whichever team went through would have an easier game at the weekend and I think that’s still true. It may have been a risk losing that last game against Belgium but it’s paid off. Sweden is clearly a good side; not many sides (Russia apart) get through to a World Cup quarterfinal with a bad team but they are far from the strongest side left in the competition. Neither is England, if I’m honest.

I’m tempted to look for the "unders" in this one. I can’t see Sweden opening up and making this an attractive match and it generally takes two sides to make an entertaining game when we get to this stage of the competition. It’s in Sweden’s best interests to keep this one tight and hope that their fresher legs can create the kind of chance that makes a difference. Unfortunately, "under" 2.5 goals is very low, too low for me to get involved and although things get better at "under" 2, you have to go for "under" 1.5 before there are really any kind of odds that I like.

Instead, I’m going for an area I’ve profited from in the past. I’m going for a draw at halftime at odds of -105 with Bet365. This will be a tight game with few chances.

England fans like myself will hate it but we’ll all be watching and hoping our team, our country, can make it through to the semifinals.

Check Out SBR's World Cup Page
