The Reds have been in poor form lately, and now they have to travel to Madrid to play the most in-form side in the entire world. Will Real Madrid grab another convincing win over Liverpool?

Odds Overview
No surprise here. Real Madrid is a hefty favorite in the -400 to -500 range, so it'd be wise to shop around and find the best possible value before placing your soccer picks.

A Liverpool outright victory would surprise many, and that's why it's available at over +1100 at a lot of the sportsbooks. A draw is available at right around +500 on most soccer betting odds board.

Real Madrid
These guys just can't stop winning, and winning comfortably at that.

Make that 11 straight matches in which Real Madrid has picked up a straight up victory. Not only are they winning, but they're scoring tons of goals in the process.

It was close to two weeks ago that Los Blancos came into Anfield and dominated Liverpool in a 3-0 win, and since that trip they've continued to play stellar soccer. They then topped Barcelona 3-1 at home in El Clasico, before beating Cornella 4-1 in the cup and then Granada 4-0 in the league.

So, as you'd guess, Real Madrid has been strolling in the Champions League, having won all three of their matches while totaling 10 goals and allowing only two. Los Blancos have also gone to the top of La Liga, where they're now one point ahead of Atletico Madrid and two points up on both Barcelona and Sevilla.

The scary thing? There's little reason to expect Real Madrid to drop off this kind of level. They should only get better and better as the season progresses, that is if all of the major cornerstones of the team are able to stay healthy. That, of course, starts with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Liverpool
There's not a lot of reason for optimism if you're a Liverpool supporter, as the Reds have really been performing poorly as of late.

Their struggles were compounded over the weekend in a forgettable 1-0 away loss to Newcastle in the Premier League. That leaves the Reds in seventh place in the table, with Sunday's matches still to play and Manchester United looking to leapfrog them.

In Europe, the Reds aren't in a great place either. They've lost two of three matches, falling to Real Madrid and also suffering a setback away to Basel. They've certainly got some making up to do if they want to have any chance of advancing out of the group.

It's just not clicking for Brendan Rodgers' team, and the absence of Daniel Sturridge has been an even bigger blow than many expected it to be. Mario Balotelli has struggled to find his form at Anfield, and the defense has been making some questionable mistakes on a lot of occasions this season too.

Getting even a draw out of this visit to the Bernabeu would be a huge lift to the club, but that's going to take a massive showing from all of those involved for the Reds. Let's see if they're able to rise to the level of Madrid on Tuesday.

Champions League Pick
As much as we'd like to think Liverpool will make a match of this, we'd be silly to go against Real Madrid. We've been backing them with our sports picks on a consistent basis and they've yet to let us down.

Plus, it's not like the Reds have given us any reason to side with them. They've looked incredibly shaky recently, and their performances have left a lot to be desired more often than not.

Taking current form into account, as well as the fact Ronaldo and company will be at home, we have to add Real Madrid to our recommended picks for this week's Champions League action.

Pick: Real Madrid 3 Liverpool 1
