Atletico Madrid travel to Celta Vigo for their La Liga match this weekend and William Hill's Lee Phelps has some interesting bets for his free soccer picks.

Atletico Madrid will look to build on that at Celta Vigo this weekend and see if they can keep winning and close that four point gap between them and Real, with Barca the filling in the Madrid sandwich in second spot.

Interestingly Diego Simeone’s men are 15.0 (14/1) to win the title.

Celta Vigo
The home team have arrested a slump of late, but it’s still only one win in 12 and they are missing a couple of first teamers for this. Midfielder Nemanja Radoja is out and Hugo Mallo is missing from the defence, with 35 appearances between them, they are big holes to fill.

Add to that the manager Eduardo Berizzo being in the stands serving the second game of his two match ban and the problems are mounting for Vigo.

The biggest problem is the lack of goals, with 11 scored in their first five home games, but only one in the last five. To be fair they have only conceded three in those five too. They actually went seven games without scoring after beating Barcelona in November and I don’t think they have enough goals to take any points this weekend.

Atletico Madrid
Atleti look to have found a second wind, with that great win I’ve already mentioned and have a good recent record against Celta Vigo winning five and drawing one of their last six. The draw was this season in a lacklustre display, so I expect them to be looking put that right.

I was talking about Celta’s lack of goals, well on the flip side Simeone’s team have only failed to score once away from home and have only kept four clean sheets on the road this season, so we could attach a both teams to score to our outright pick.

I like soccer odds on Mario Mandzukic too. His away goal scoring record is fantastic, with seven goals in his last 6 away matches. So you have to go back to September when he failed to score in an away league game and has 44% of his side’s goals on the road. He is 2.7 (17/10) to add to that tally and I expect him to do that.

Don't miss our UEFA Champions League Odds Predictions & Picks for Knockout Stage

Soccer picks
For anyone who saw Atletico’s performance last week, 2.1 (11/10) on the win at Celta Vigo will look far too good and won’t need anything else to go with it. That price does make the Atleti win and both teams to score look big though at 5.5 (9/2).

I love that Mandzukic soccer pick though at 2.7 (17/10) and I would double that up with an away win at 4.33 (10/3).

Free Soccer Pick: Mario Mandzukic to score and Atletico Madrid to win: 4.33 (10/3)

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":326293, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
