You Humble Handicapper has already mentioned the money can be won over on the continent, but he doesn't want to leave Germany out. Bayern Munich versus Bayer Leverkusen is his favourite game in the Bundesliga to spin some money, why not join him in his winnings.

Everybody knows that Bayern Munich are running away with the German top-flight at present, after 24 games they have an unassailable 68 points with 22 victories, two draws and not a single defeat in that run. What's more they’ve scored 72 goals and conceded just 11 in those aforementioned 24 games, and you should know that the sports books have Bayern Munich winning the league title as a done deal.

What all this means is it that Munich don't have a great deal to play for but Leverkusen do.

Enough with what’s to play for…WHERE’S THE MONEY MIKE?

It’s no great surprise that Bayern Munich have won their last five games absolutely straight. What's more they have scored 15 goals in their last three games and 21 goals in their last five, this side is utterly, utterly and again utterly on a roll.

Bayer Leverkusen, by comparison are on a very dodgy run, they are winless in their last five with a draw in their most recent outing and then four back-to-back defeats before that.

Goal Shy

Leverkusen seem to have great difficulty finding the back of the net as they failed to score in two of their last five games and haven't scored more than a single goal in any one of those games.

Looking just at the last five Leverkusen have been outscored by the competition 11 goals to 3. It's probably scant consolation but when they played away from home they haven't done particularly worse than when played at home, but with Bayern Munich it doesn't seem to matter whether they play at home or away, as they tend to win regardless.

It’s no surprise that Bayern Munich are 2/11 to win this game, Leverkusen are 18/1 and the draw is at 7/1.

If you want to make some money out of this game you’ll have to do better than just betting on a clear winner, therefore you have to look a little bit deeper.

Even looking at the half-time full-time scores results odds does make things much better as Bayern Munich winning both halves is available at 8/15 and Leverkusen winning both halves is at 40/1. If you do want some money down on the halves, why not go for the game being drawn on the 45 before Bayern take it on the 90, available at 4/1 or even Leverkusen having it on the half-time whistle and Munich having it on the full-time whistle which is available at 25/1, however I would suggest you stay well well away from any combination that ends with Leverkusen winning. For instance the game being in home side’s favour at the end of the first half and then the visitors favour and in the second half is available at best soccer odds of 150/1.

Head to head its worth noting that in the last three matches both sides have scored and you can picked up best soccer odds of both side scoring in this match at best soccer odds of 10/11.

Recently the home side won twice, 2-0 and 3-0 respectively (Leverkusen and Munich) back in March 2012 and September 2011 respectively. A repeat of that 2-0 scoreline in Leverkusen's favour is available at 200/1, and the 3-0 scoreline in Munich’s favour is available at 7/1.

I don't think that Leverkusen will have the best of Munich’s back four and I think that the home side will keep a clean sheet.

Something that they haven't done since 23 February when they beat Hanover 4-0. In Munich’s last two games they did concede a goal but the only conceded a single goal. Considering that their last two results were 6-1 and 5-1 respectively you can mark that up to consolation goal.

I don't think they can to run that rampant against Leverkusen, so there’ll be no reason to go letting in a consolation.

Prediction: Bayern Munich win 3-0 available at best soccer odds of 15/2 with BetVictor.
