So much is still at stake in the Bundesliga race, meaning Leverkusen need a good result at home against Hoffenheim on Sunday.

Odds Overview
Glancing over the soccer betting odds, we see the hosts favored in and around -140 to win and get three crucial points.

The price on a Hoffenheim victory varies, but we mostly see +300 to +350 out there at the top sports betting sites. A draw is available at roughly +300, but keep tracking the odds for yourself at SBRodds.com.

Bayer Leverkusen
The last five weeks or so couldn't have gone any worse for Bayer. They've failed to win any of their last eight matches across all competitions.

Sami Hyppia's team was beaten comfortably by PSG in the Champions League and also bowed out of the DFB Pokal, losing to Kaiserslautern at home in the quarter-finals. Add in two domestic losses at home to Schalke and Mainz and you'll get an even better idea of how much trouble Leverkusen is having.

The latest setback came against Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena. The score-line actually flattered the visitors, as Bayern controlled the tempo from start to finish, that is until a last-gasp consolation from Stefan Kiessling.

The poor run of form has Bayer barely hanging on to the fourth spot in the Bundesliga standings. They're only three points up on Mainz and four ahead of Wolfsburg, so it's certainly not a guarantee that Hyppia's side will end up in the top four, particularly with the way they've been performing of late.

One thing that simply has to change is Leverkusen's home form. They had been terrific inside BayArena until recently and need to revert back to that dominance sooner rather than later.

After thumping Wolfsburg 6-2 at home, Hoffenheim has gone completely downhill, losing 4-0 away to Schalke and 4-2 at home to Mainz over the last two weekends.

Mainz has been playing well this term, but there's still no excuse for such a poor result in the front of the home faithful. Close to 25,000 looked on as Hoffenheim surrendered four second-half goals after going up 2-0 after 52 minutes.

It was a total collapse. Eugen Polanski and Robert Firmino had put the home side up comfortably, but Mainz was ruthless in front of goal and made the most of their limited opportunities.

Now Hoffenheim is in real danger of losing a third straight in the league. They come up against a wounded animal in Leverkusen that's searching desperately for some positivity. It could very well come at the expense of Hoffenheim this Sunday.

Scoring goals hasn't been an issue for this side whatsoever. They've actually scored the third-most goals (54) in the league, yet their awful defensive record (56 goals allowed, worst in the league) has been their detriment.

Bundesliga Pick
Leverkusen won the first meeting of the season 2-1 away from home. Kiessling and Sidney Sam scored, though the former's goal was a freak incident in which the goal crept through the side netting, with the referee unaware of what had happened. The goal stood and a late goal from Sven Schipplock wasn't enough. Firmino's missed penalty certainly didn't help Hoffenheim either.

Will we see Leverkusen make it a clean sweep on Sunday?

We believe so. Hyppia's side has been in desperate need of a good result and this sets up as a great opportunity for them to get an outright win and keep the pressure on the rest of the top four (aside from Bayern of course) in the Bundesliga. Of course it helps that Hoffenheim has looked truly terrible over the last couple weeks, making Leverkusen the easy choice for our soccer picks.
