We are all set for another exciting weekend of soccer across Europe’s top leagues, with plenty of value to be had for sports fans putting together parlay bets or just looking for interesting betting options on high profile games. Here are some of our top tips in each of the big four leagues.

 English Premiership

Man City won their first 10 games in a row under Pep Guardiola but faltered for the first time in midweek, when they drew 3-3 with a Celtic side that lost their previous Champions League game 7-0 to Celtic. They face another potential banana skin this weekend away at Tottenham, who beat City home and away last season. Man City are favourites and understandably so as they are top of the league with a 100% record thus far, but Tottenham are second and also unbeaten, and they can get a result here, pay close attention to the soccer odds. The -129 on Tottenham-draw double chance looks a great bet in all of the different sportsbooks. Another game where you could play that bet is Leicester v Southampton. Champions Leicester have already lost three times this season, the same number of defeats as they suffered in the entirety of the 2015-15 campaign, and are 12th in the league, below Southampton, who come into the match on a three-game winning streak and have not conceded in five. Southampton-draw double chance is -133. Another good bet is a double of Arsenal to beat Burnley (-250) and Liverpool to beat Swansea (-200). Double them up and you get some value. You can also get +100 on Man Utd to beat Stoke and there to be over 2.5 goals. In the last seven times, these teams have met at Old Trafford, Man Utd have won and there have been over 2.5 goals. Man Utd are in better form – Stoke are second bottom with two points from six games – and both teams have averaged more than three goals per game so far this season, so Man Utd and over 2.5 goals looks great.

La Liga

Title favorites Barcelona play Celta Vigo this weekend and the odds of -225 at Pinnacle look pretty good for bulking out an accumulator. But if you want to get more value you might consider giving Barcelona a -1.5 handicap. That will get you +115. Last time they played Barcelona won 6-1, and Celta Vigo has already lost 4-0 to Atletico Madrid this season, so it is entirely possible that we will see a heavy Barcelona win. Atletico has won three of their last four – the one they didn’t win was a very creditable draw with Barcelona – and are well priced at -112.5 to beat Valencia. Last season they beat Valencia home and away. Fourth-placed Villareal is still unbeaten and plays an out of sorts Espanyol side that has won just won in seven. Despite that Villareal draw on the bet is +104 and that looks a great bet.

Serie A

Second-placed Napoli travels to Atalanta, who they beat home and away last season en route to finishing 11 places above them, and are well priced at -153 to win it. You could double up on Napoli and Juventus, who are -275 to beat Empoli. Roma host an Inter side in great form, having won three on the bounce, including a victory over Juventus – the champions’ first defeat in many months. Roma started the season in splendid form but have since faltered and Inter can get a result here. In the last three games between these two, Inter has won two and the other ended in a draw. You can get +177 on Inter draw no bet and -117 on Inter-draw double chance, which both look great bets for your soccer pick. The match between Torino and Fiorentina also looks interesting and should be a tight encounter as the teams are at a similar level and have a pretty even head to head record in the recent season. The +246 on a draw in this game looks a good bet.

Bundesliga

The Bayern Munich juggernaut continues to gather pace and they are well on course to win the Bundesliga, having won all five of their opening games. They should beat Koln, but you would not expect a huge margin of victory. Bayern lost their midweek Champions League game against Atletico, which may have knocked their confidence, while Koln has had all week to rest up. Koln is unbeaten this season too and are third in the league, having scored nine and conceded just two. So if Bayern wins it will probably be narrow. Therefore, it might be worth giving Koln a +2 on the Asian handicap. That way you get odds of +111 and your bet wins if Koln wins, draw or lose by a single goal, and your stake is refunded if they lose by two goals. Second-placed Borussia Dortmund travels to Bayer Leverkusen after a hard fought 2-2 draw with Real Madrid midweek. Bayer, who drew at Monaco, were third last season but have been a bit erratic this time around, so Dortmund can capitalise and win this one (+115), particularly as they beat Bayer home and away last season. The fourth and fifth-placed teams from last season also play one another this weekend, as Borussia Monchengladbach travel to Schalke. It’s all gone wrong for Schalke, who have lost all five of their matches so far. Despite that, they are favorites, but they will be low on confidence and Monchengladbach can take advantage. Monchengladbach draws no bet is +110 and Monchengladbach-draw double chance is -175. Finally, RB Leipzig can keep up the good run of form by beating Augsburg at home (-130).
