The main favorites have been quite solid so far with the six better ranked players in action this Friday. Find out the top tennis pick for ATP Shenzhen quarterfinals.

Adrian Mannarino (5) vs Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (4)
Adrian Mannarino is a very consistent baseline player with great counter puncher skills however the French is too passive which gives to his opponents many chances to take control of the rallies.

Mannarino had couple of early losses since ATP Bogota where he reached the final and this is the first time since that event where Adrian reaches quarterfinals after defeating Lucas Pouille and Yan Bai.

Guillermo Garcia-Lopez had a great start of season winning two titles but physical problems didn’t allow him to keep the same level at Wimbledon and also in preparation for US Open. Despite that the Spanish did a quite decent US Open reaching third round and also played at good level last week at Metz losing only on third set tie break to Martin Klizan.

This week at Shenzhen the Spaniard started with a solid victory over Lukas Rosol with his consistent and high pace tennis making the difference.

Garcia-Lopez won the two previous meetings and this seems to be a very interesting match-up for him. Mannarino will struggled to get advantage in longer rallies like he usually does because Guillermo is also an extremely solid competitor.

Adrian likes to be the one to make his opponents run, using his counter puncher skills to get the ball very early however Garcia-Lopez has a great baseline movement and with his solid groundstrokes should be able to overcome Mannarino.

We’ll take the value on Garcia-Lopez tennis odds and add him to our tennis picks.
