Join us in our two top betting selections for the ATP Estoril & Munich Finals. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Dominic Thiem (3) vs Philipp Kohlschreiber (4)
As we predicted in our ATP Munich Semifinals analysis, Dominic Thiem had to work very hard on his contest against Alexander Zverev, with the Austrian recovering from a set down. As it happened on the previous two matches this week, Dominic struggled to find his best tennis with too many unforced errors. We picked Thiem as the main contender to win the title this week and he matched the expectations by reaching the decisive match in Munich.

For the fifth time on his career, Philipp Kohlschreiber reaches the ATP Munich final. Kohlschreiber feels like home on this tournament and his performances this week has been outstanding, winning all his matches in straight sets. After defeating Juan Martin Del Potro at the quarterfinals, the German was just too good for Fabio Fognini, crushing the Italian by 6 – 1 6 – 4 to book a place on this final. Kohlschreiber’s numbers on serve have been impressive, especially on the last two games against Del Potro and Fognini, where the German won 100% of his service games.

This will be the second career meeting between these two players, with Kohlschreiber winning the previous they played last year at Kitzbuhel by 6 – 0 7 – 6.

It should be a high quality match between two of the best one-handed backhand players on the world. As we mentioned before, Thiem was our initial choice to lift the trophy, but we believe this is the time to go the other way. Kohlschreiber is playing at a tremendous level while Thiem has been extremely erratic this week. The conditions are quite faster which benefits Philipp’s game style and with that in mind, our suggestion is to take advantage of Kohlschreiber’s tennis odds by placing a bet on him to win the title.

Pablo Carreno Busta (8) vs Nicolas Almagro
With an outstanding performance, Nicolas Almagro surprised our main favorite for the title, Nick Kyrgios. Even though Almagro was facing one of the biggest servers on tour, the Spaniard broke Kyrgios four times and won 45% points on return, which is truly remarkable. Nicolas is known for his brutal forehand yet, it has been the backhand to appear on crucial points, with Almagro firing some remarkable backhand down the line. Almagro will be looking for his first title since 2012, with the Spaniard losing the five previous finals he played.

Pablo Carreno Busta reaches his second career ATP World Tour Final, after losing the previous one he played earlier this year in São Paulo against Pablo Cuevas. Carreno Busta is a terrific competitor and when he steps up on court one thing is certain, he won’t give anything for free to his opponents. Despite Pablo’s credit this week, it’s important to mention that the draw was quite good for him, with some of his opponents far from their best. On the semifinals, Carreno defeated Benoit Paire, who didn’t seem interested at all in the match, committing too many errors.

These two players will face for the first time on their careers.

Both players are clay court experts and we should witness some intense baseline rallies. Almagro is not only the more experienced of the two, but also the one who is able to produce a higher level of tennis. This is a great opportunity for Nicolas to win his 13th career title and he should be too good for his fellow countryman. Having said that, our recommendation for this match is to add Almagro’s set handicap to your tennis picks.
