Neil Warnock will make his home debut as manager of Crystal Palace this weekend, and will lead out his side as favorites in the soccer betting odds. Will Palace get the better of newly-promoted Burnley at Selhurst Park?

Odds Overview
The Eagles have been far from world beaters in the early stages of the Premier League season, yet they've been classed as clear-cut favorites for Saturday's match. They're right around +125 to get the three points.

The visiting Clarets are available for backing in a range of +250 to +275 soccer odds, with a draw at +225 for the most part.

Crystal Palace
It's been a tough start for the Eagles, who have only one point to their name through three league fixtures this season.

Palace opened with a hard-fought 2-1 away loss to Arsenal, and was then beaten 3-1 at home by West Ham the following week. However, the Eagles had a successful week before the international break, thumping Walsall 3-0 in the Capital One Cup and then earning a 3-3 draw away to Newcastle in the league.

So while Palace is currently in the relegation zone, there's reason for optimism right now, especially with some new faces linking up with the club.

The likes of James McArthur, Kevin Doyle and Zeki Fryers could all make appearances after signing before the deadline. Andrew Johnson may be involved as well. Wilfried Zaha, Mile Jedinak and Dwight Gayle are just a few of the names to keep an eye out for.

Injury wise, Marouane Chamakh is out for weeks, but with the extra cover now, Palace should be able to cope just fine without the striker. Warnock will certainly be hoping that's true for this home date with a motivated Burnley outfit.

Burnley
The Clarets may only have a point to show for their efforts, but they've proven they intend to put up a great fight in hopes of staying in the Premier League.

Through three fixtures, Burnley has lost to Chelsea (3-1) and Swansea City (1-0), but they were able to pick up a crucial point at home to Manchester United (0-0) before the international break. No matter how much the Red Devils are struggling, getting a point against a huge club like that shouldn't go unnoticed.

Burnley will be without striker Sam Vokes, who's struggling with a knee problem, but Danny Ings is expected to play after getting over an illness.

The Clarets played a standard 4-4-2 formation against Manchester United, and we'll have to see if there will be any changes in tactics for this trip to London.

These are the types of fixtures that relegation-threatened clubs really need to focus on, so we know manager Sean Dyche will have his team ready for battle. Whether Burnley can do enough to tip the balance in their favor in a hostile environment, after failing to get a point in their first two away fixtures, remains to be seen.

Premier League Pick
It's never easy locating the best value when you've got two struggling teams, but we feel a lot better about Palace than we do Burnley for this weekend.

This will be Warnock's first home match in charge of the club, so the Eagles aren't going to be short on motivation, especially after recording some positive results right before the break. They'll be hoping to turn that new-found confidence into the full three points.

What's more, we simply believe the Eagles are the more talented team from top to bottom, and they're certainly more well-equipped to avoid relegation. At home and with a lot to play for, we're backing Palace to etch out the win with our soccer pick.
