This NCAA Basketball handicapper's attention has zoomed in on a dangersous underdog well-worth a wager: the LSU Tigers vs. Texas A&M Aggies.

LSU vs. Texas A&M (-2-) 9:00 ET SEC TV
At 9:00 pm ET, as televised on SEC TV, LSU travels to College Station in a classic battle of bubble teams.  Texas A&M is 17-7 SU overall and 8-4 SU in the league.  LSU is 18-7 SU overall, 7-5 SU in the league. These teams met in Baton Rouge on January 17th with the Aggies emerging with a 67-64 victory at the Tigers’ expense.  I will favor the avenging road dog in tonight's NCAA Basketball odds, based on their outstanding road ability and potent offense.

Texas A&M has been a pleasant surprise for Aggie backers in the 4th year under HC Billy Kennedy.  The 18 victories of last season culminated with a quarter-final finish in the CBI post-season tourney.  This year, an Aggie team with 4 RS was picked to finish 7th in the SEC.  But, they are looking for more!  The Aggies have actually played a bit better on the conference road, going 4-1 SU ATS of late.  On their home floor of Reed Arena, they already have a pair of losses to Georgia and Kentucky, along with a narrow 1 point win over Florida on Saturday.  They have cooled a bit as the calendar has turned to February with a record of 2-2 SU but 1-3 ATS.

This handicapper's found another live dog in today's NCAA Basketball odds.

The real story here is LSU, whom we have ridden with out NCAA Basketball Picks to road victories in every one of their upsets.  Beginning on December 4th, LSU won 74-73 at WVU as 9 point dog.  On January 14th, the Tigers upset Ole Miss in Oxford (75-71) as 6 point pup.  Later in January, in consecutive road games, LSU won at Florida (79-61) as double digit dog, then stole one at Vandy (79-75) as 2 point dog.  On Saturday, in a top-rated 5% play for this bureau, LSU crushed Tennessee, wire-to-wire, for a 73-55 victory.  That makes it 5-0 SU ATS as road dog, in which they have covered the number by 74 points or 15 PPG.  THIS IS NOT A FLUKE FOR 3RD YEAR MENTOR, JOHNNY JONES.  In returning to his alma mater, Jones has continued a lifetime coaching mark, which sees his teams to be now 87-53 ATS as road dog, 43-19 ATS L8Y and, of course, 5-0 ATS this year.  Fundamentally, they possess the athleticism and offensive and defensive excellence of Mickey and Martin on the inside, the 3 point shooting of Hornsby and a pair of point guards in Patterson and Gray to run the show.

In short, this is as live a road dog as you will find on Tuesday's NCAA Basketball betting slate.
