Welcome to our coverage of the Australian Open and a look at Day 4 (Wednesday in USA). Our tennis capper offers detailed analysis on two matches -- one in each bracket -- worthy of betting consideration.

Denis Shapovalov vs. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (15)Free Tennis Pick: Over 38 (-114)Best Line Offered: BetOnline

As we predicted in our Day 1 analysis, Stefanos Tsitsipas couldn’t find the answer to Denis Shapovalov's firepower. The 18-year-old allowed only one break of serve throughout the match, with Tsitsipas winning only 23.46 percent of the points on the Canadian’s serve. On the other hand, Shapovalov ended the match with 33 winners against only 11 from his opponent. Despite his age, the Canadian is ranked in the top 50 and became the youngest semifinalist at an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, a 2008 Australian Open finalist, hasn’t reached a Grand Slam final since his breakout run a decade ago. Nevertheless, playing in Melbourne brings the best out of the 32-year-old with an outstanding 77.78 percent record in this event. Known as one of the best servers on the ATP World Tour, the fast-court conditions in Melbourne Park are perfect for the French player’s powerful serve. Tsonga, seeded 15th, reached this stage of the competition with a 6-4, 6-4, 6-1 win over Kevin King.

This will be the second career meeting between these two. Shapovalov beat Tsonga in straight sets at the 2017 U.S. Open.

Despite his undeniable quality, Tsonga’s unreliable backhand is often exploited by left-handed players such as Shapovalov. On the other hand, Shapovalov is well-known for playing his best tennis on the big stage and against the best players in the world. With this in mind, our suggestion is for you to add the over to your tennis picks because we expect at least four sets and one tiebreak in this contest.

Ashleigh Barty (18) vs. Camila Giorgi

Free Tennis Pick: Ashleigh Barty ML (-164)Best Line Offered: Pinnacle

Home favorite Ashleigh Barty is through to the second round of the Australian Open after a three-set victory over Aryna Sabalenka. Despite a slow start, the 21-year-old showed she can cope with the pressure from being one set down. Looking at Barty's numbers in her opening match, the highlight goes to her serve with an impressive average of 0.69 aces per service games.

Camila Giorgi continues her impressive start to 2018. Besides reaching the Sydney International semifinals as a qualifier, the Italian secured a spot in the Australian Open's second round for the first time since 2015. The 26-year-old didn’t experience any major problems with a 6-4, 6-3 win against qualifier Anna Kalinskaya. Known as one of the most aggressive players in the game, Giorgi ended the match with seven aces and 33 winners.

Barty and Giorgi will meet for the third time in their careers. Barty won each of the first two matchups in straight sets. In addition, the strong support for Barty from the Australian fans can play a decisive role in this contest.

Having said that, our advice is to take advantage of Barty's value on the tennis odds board and bet on the former junior world No. 2 to extend her winning streak in Melbourne Park.
