Join us and find out our two top betting selections for the ATP & WTA Indian Wells Day 9. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Darya Kasatkina vs. Karolina Pliskova (18)
Since early age, Darya Kasatkina proved to be one of the most talented players of her generation, winning the Junior French Open in 2014. The last months have been outstanding for the young Russian, with Kasatkina breaking into the top 50 for the first time on her career this year. Despite playing this Indian Wells event for the first time on her career, Darya is already at the quarterfinals after a 6 – 4 6 – 2 triumph over the 12th seed and last year’s quarterfinalist, Timea Bacsinszky.

The last years have been a constant improvement on Karolina Pliskova’s game and her results in Indian Wells are a good example of that – lost in the 3rd round in 2014; lost in the 4th round in 2015 and is already in the quarterfinals in 2016. Even though the courts in Indian Wells are far from the fastest on tour, Karolina is recording good numbers on serve this week, firing an average of 0.58 aces per service game and winning 83.9% of her service games. After two straight sets victories, Karolina dropped her first set on her 4th round match Johanna Konta, but still found a way to emerge victorious by 7 – 6 3 – 6 6 – 3.

These two players will face for the first time on their career, but due to their tremendous quality and young age, we should witness several more contests between them in the next years. Kasatkina might struggle to produce her best tennis on such an important match while Pliskova’s experience and firepower should be too much for her opponent. With this in mind, we suggest adding Pliskova to your tennis picks as the best play for this match.

Milos Raonic (12) vs. Gael Monfils (13)
It has been a good year for Gael Monfils so far, with the French reaching the final stages of the Australian Open, Rotterdam and now in Indian Wells. However, is important to mention that Gael had very easy draws this year and this week is a good example of that, with Monfils playing three matches as big favorite against Pablo Carreno Busta, Albert Ramos Vinolas and Federico Delbonis. Despite having an easy draw, credit for Gael for playing solid tennis and winning all his matches in straight sets.

Milos Raonic keeps performing at great level in 2016 and after two easy matches against Inigo Cervantes and Bernard Tomic, the Canadian emerged victorious in a tougher match against Tomas Berdych on the 4th round. After Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka’s losses, Raonic is now the main favorite on bottom half of the draw to reach the final and he’ll be looking to achieve the 3rd Masters 1000 final of his career.

This will be the fourth career meeting between these two players, with Monfils leading on h2h by 2 – 1; however, Raonic won the previous match this year at the Australian Open by 6 – 3 3 – 6 6 – 3 6 – 4.

It should be a very interesting contest with Monfils’ outstanding defensive skills against Raonic’s firepower. The main problem for Gael on this match-up is his lack of aggressiveness, giving too much opportunities for his opponents to attack. Like it happened earlier this year, Milos should emerge victorious on this contest and with that in mind, we suggest taking advantage of the Canadian tennis odds by placing a bet on his set handicap.

Free Tennis Pick: Milos Raonic -1.5 Set Handicap (+113)
