The two main favorite Dimitrov and Ferrer are far from their best and both at top half of the draw which gives extra value to the players in bottom half. Find out who is the player to keep an eye on at ATP Kuala Lumpur.

ATP Kuala Lumpur
The Malaysian Open takes place in Kuala Lumpur and is player on Indoor Hard Court.

Main Contenders
David Ferrer has struggled with physical problems in last months, since Roland Garros he only played two tournaments and comes to this event to get back some rhythm and important points to keep him in the run for London.

This is the 5th time that Ferrer plays in Kuala Lumpur but the best he has achieved so far was semifinals in 2010 and 2012. He’s far from his best and clearly has no value at 3.75 at Bet365 for the title.

Grigor Dimitrov has been far from his best level with many early losses like in US Open against Mikhail Kukuhskin in second round. Dimitrov has been playing too passive giving his opponents the control of the rallies and in this fast Indoor conditions that defensive mindset might be fatal for him.

Grigor is a very talented player but at this moment his game level is extremely low and no value at all at tennis odds of 4.50 at bet365 for the title.

Player to keep an eye on
Nick Kyrgios had a disappointing performance last year at Kuala Lumpur, this is his mother home country and he really wants to do well in this event however last season was just exhausted physically from a demanding season and this was the last event he played in 2014.

This year Kyrgios is in much better shape and also the draw is extremely good for him to go far on this event. The first two matches will be against solid and experienced players, Santiago Giraldo and most likely Jarkko Nieminen, but none of the two has any real weapons to bother Kyrgios who should be able to overplay both. In quarterfinals a tougher contest is expected against Ivo Karlovic, the giant Croatian is always a hard opponent due to his serve quality but Kyrgios knows how to beat Karlovic with 1 – 0 lead on h2h. At semifinals might meet the 2nd seed Feliciano Lopez that has defeated earlier this year Kyrgios on clay but on Indoor Kyrgios must be able to get the job done.

In the final Nick might be rated as underdog facing one of the highest seeds on top half of the draw however he clearly has weapons to beat them and Kyrgios at 10.00 at bet365 for the title is pure value so we’ll add it to our tennis picks.
