Join us in our two top betting selections for the ATP Estoril & Munich. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Borna Coric (6) vs. Nick Kyrgios (2)
On our tournament analysis, we picked Nick Kyrgios as our favorite for the title and the Australian started his campaign in Estoril with a 7 – 6 7 – 5 triumph over Inigo Cervantes. Despite the close scoreboard, Nick was always in control of the match with outstanding stats on serve: 9 aces, 75% first serve in and 80% points won on serve. This is a very special event for Kyrgios and he’s extremely determined to go a step further this year, after losing at the final in 2015 against Richard Gasquet.

When looking at some of young rising stars on the ATP World Tour, Borna Coric is one of the most overrated of them. There are no doubts about Borna’s fighting skills and competitive mindset yet, there are no real weapons on the Croatian’s game. It’s hard to see Coric overplaying his opponents instead, his wins are mostly due to his consistency and an unusual maturity for a 19 years old player. On the previous round, Coric needed a third set to defeat the Brazilian Rogerio Dutra Silva by 6 – 3 4 – 6 6 – 1.

This will be the first career meeting between two of the most promising players on tour.

As we mentioned, Coric is a tremendous competitor and he won’t go down without a fight; however, Kyrgios is a higher level player and there isn’t much the Croatian can do on this contest. With Nick serving at such high level is almost impossible to break him and that also gives him a tremendous confidence to attack from the baseline. Kyrgios should get the job done on this match yet, we’ll add his set handicap to our tennis picks instead of the spread because is quite possible that a tie break is required to solve one set.

Juan Martin Del Potro (WC) vs. Philipp Kohlschreiber (4)
We picked Juan Martin Del Potro as the player to keep an eye on this event yet, it hasn’t been an easy journey for Del Potro in Munich. After a two close sets victory on the first round against Dustin Brown, Jan-Lennard Struff forced Del Potro to a third set on the previous round. Del Potro keeps struggling with his backhand, unable to generate any sort of pace and playing too passive with it.

Philipp Kohlschreiber loves this Munich event, with an outstanding 27 – 11 career record on it. Last year Philipp was very close from grabbing his third career title on this competition, losing only on a third set tie break in the final against Andy Murray. After a good campaign in Barcelona where Kohlshcreiber only lost to Rafael Nadal at the semifinals, the German started his campaign in Munich with an easy victory over Florian Mayer by 6 – 3 6 -  2.

These two players know each other well with six previous matches between them and Del Potro won all of those. However, Del Potro is far from the player he used to be before all the injuries and if we look at those previous six matches, Kohlschreiber always gave a good fight to the Argentinean.

This is a great opportunity for Kohlschreiber to achieve his first career victory over Del Potro. Philipp is a very intelligent player and he should use all his variety to explore Del Potro’s weaker backhand. We believe this is a good time to edge our tournament bet on Del Potro and for that reason, we suggest taking advantage of Kohlschreiber’s tennis odds by placing a bet on him.
