Join us in our two top betting selections for the ATP Barcelona & WTA Stuttgart Finals. We'll provide a detailed analysis, explaining why you should grab these two valuable tennis picks.

Rafael Nadal (1) vs. Kei Nishikori (2)
As we predicted in our tournament analysis, Rafael Nadal and Kei Nishikori reach the decisive match in Barcelona. It has been a good week for both players, with neither of them losing a single set on their path into this final.

In our ATP Barcelona Semifinals preview we picked Rafael Nadal to cover his spread against Philipp Kohlschreiber and the Spaniard matched the expectations, with a 6 – 3 6 – 3 triumph over the German. Once again Nadal was just too solid for his opponent, ending the match with 18 winners / 17 unforced errors while Kohlschreiber made 17 winners / 37 unforced errors.

Nishikori loves to compete on this event and he’ll be looking to grab his third consecutive title in Barcelona. Even though Nishikori is far from a big server, the Japanese has been absolutely brilliant on serve this week, winning 91.9% of the service games he played. On the semifinals Nishikori found no problems on his contest against Benoit Paire, dismissing the French by 6 – 3 6 – 2.

This will be the 10th career meeting between these two players, with Nadal leading on h2h by 8 – 1. However, if we look at the previous three meetings between them, Nishikori won one and had the match on his pocket in another but was forced to retire due to injury.

It should be a very close contest between the two players, Nadal is returning to his best level yet, Nishikori has weapons to defeat the Spaniard. The tennis odds on Nishikori present good value and with that in mind, we suggest to take advantage of them by placing a bet on the Japanese set handicap.

Laura Siegemund (q) vs. Angelique Kerber (2)
It has been a dream week for Laura Siegemund, with the German reaching her first WTA career final. Siegemund was forced to play the qualifying due to her low ranking but that was not a problem for the German, with Laura winning all the seven matches she played so far in Stuttgart, all in straight sets. At the semifinals, Siegemund surprised the first seed, Agnieszka Radwanska, defeating the Polish by 6 – 4 6 – 2 – in a match where she made 34 winners / 17 unforced errors.

For the second consecutive year, Angelique Kerber will play the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix final. On the previous round we picked Kerber to cover her spread against Petra Kvitova and the German got the job done, defeating Petra by 6 – 4 4 – 6 6 – 2. It was a high quality match, with Petra ending the match with 47 winners / 33 unforced errors however, Kerber’s baseline consistency was too much for her opponent with 17 winners / 14 unforced errors.

These two players will face each other for the first time on their careers.

For the first time ever on this event, two German players will meet on the WTA Stuttgart final. Kerber is the most experienced of the two with eight WTA titles won throughout her career while Siegemund will play her first final ever at this level. It won’t be easy for Laura to keep the level on her first final, especially against such a terrific defender as Kerber. It has been an incredible week for Siegemund with several victories against top players however, Kerber should be too good on this final and for that reason, our recommendation is for you to add Angelique’s spread to your tennis picks as the best play for this final.
