Arsenal's quest for second place has its toughest test, with Chelsea arriving at The Emirates. William Hill's Lee Phelps looks at the odds for his free betting pick.

Sunday at 4pm UK time two of the Premier League’s most influential managers go toe-to-toe once again. Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho don't get on, so this could be a feisty affair on and off the pitch.

Both sets of players have been in excellent form recently with Arsenal’s record since Boxing Day giving them a hypothetical table topping status. Chelsea are the champions elect with a 10 point lead over the Gunners and there’s that record the Portuguese manager holds over his French counterpart. Wenger hasn't beaten Mourinho in 12 attempts drawing five and losing seven.

Soccer odds makers have made Arsenal the favorite at +140, Chelsea at +230 and the draw set at +230 for this fixture. So with a close match like this where should we place our bet?

Chelsea
Whatever you think of Chelsea's style of play, it's certainly effective and even without the leading scorer in Diego Costa and the injury to Loic Remy, they still find the goals to win their games. In Eden Hazard they have the best player in the division and someone who has maintained his form throughout the season, if not improving it in recent weeks.

In my preview of the Chelsea versus Manchester United game I explained how I thought the Blues would set up to not lose, I actually expected a draw in the game and I could see something similar here.

As good as Chelsea are at home you could argue that their style of play is more suited to counter-attacking away from home, especially against the other top teams in the division. With that big cushion at the top of the table, they can afford to sit back and wait for a mistake. We saw them pounce on United, break quickly and rely on Hazard's brilliance.

Arsenal
The question for me isn't what Chelsea will do, but how adventurous Arsene Wenger will be. This is a great opportunity to end that Jose hoodoo and with the title all-but won you could argue the league leaders may not be 100% focused.

You could argue that, but I'm not going to. However if Arsenal do go for it and try to break Chelsea down, we will see an entertaining match and one which may force Mourinho's men into a more attacking outlook.

It's hard to know what the Gunners will do. They could settle for a point with a game in hand and second place up for grabs, so it's a tough game to predict with so many question marks over tactics.

Soccer picks
It's my job to second guess the tactics and come up with a bet soccer pick! I'm trusting the better team to dictate the play and so I'm going for a similar outcome to last week. Low on the goals, so under 2.5 again, and the result I predicted in the Chelsea Man U game.
