The Toronto Argonauts take the field in Week 2 with their newly bolstered offense. They added two of the most significant free agents after signing running back Andrew Harris and wide receiver Brandon Banks.

Meanwhile, the Montreal Alouettes are coming off of a tough loss to the Calgary Stampeders to open their season. They'll look to bounce back this week against another East Division rival on the road. The club will need to do so without star running back William Stanback, who's on the six-game injured list after leaving in Week 1.

Wide receiver Eugene Lewis started his season off strong with 112 yards on four receptions. Running back Jeshrun Antwi stepped in for the injured William Stanback, ripping off a 70-yard run on one of his first touches. Montreal will need more of that to keep up the Toronto Argonauts' offense.

The Argos welcome two of the league's most explosive players. However, Harris and Banks have yet to play at game speed with their new team, and the Alouettes wrapped up a tight contest against a West Division opponent in Week 1. Give the edge to the team with a game under its belt.

Montreal has won three of its last four meetings against Toronto. The team's only loss during that span was a 30-27 defeat in 2021. These clubs last met during Week 12 in 2021, with the Alouettes winning 37-16 despite the absence of quarterback Vernon Adams Jr.

The books are counting on Toronto’s newcomers to make an instant impact. However, in Week 1 the Als faced a tough running back in Ka’Deem Carey and held him to 60 yards. He did score two touchdowns, but Montreal still gave itself a shot to win the game.
