Join us while we analyze the WTA Singapore 2015 finalists Player’s Profile: Agnieszka Radwanska and Petra Kvitova. Find out how this article can improve your tennis betting picks.

Agnieszka Radwanska
Agnieszka Radwanska ended 2015 at great level by winning the WTA Singapore Finals trophy. After claiming the biggest title on her career, Radwanska said that one of her goals for 2016 is to go deeper on Grand Slams.

Agnieszka is a terrific defender, with outstanding counter punching skills, however she can’t generate much power with her groundstrokes. Let’s look closely on Radwanska’s numbers, using Pinnacle's closing betting odds.

We can conclude that Agnieszka hasn’t been a solid investment in recent years, with clay being, by far, her worst surface. The main reason for Radwanska’s poor results on clay is the irregular ball bounce on the surface, which doesn’t allow Agnieszka to hit the ball as early as she usually does.

Radwanska is a terrific competitor and one of the most talented players on tour, but she becomes vulnerable due to her lack of power. Because of that vulnerability, we advise to avoid betting on Radwanska, especially on clay court tournaments.

Petra Kvitova
The two times Wimbledon champion, Petra Kvitova, is one of the most dangerous players on WTA Tour. Petra’s left handed serve and powerful groundstrokes are her main weapons, but the Czech is also known for her inconsistency.

Kvitova ended every season inside top 10 since 2011, but let’s analyze more carefully her numbers in previous seasons.

We can verify that Kvitova has been much more profitable when priced as Underdog. As we mentioned, the Czech is extremely inconsistent and because of that loses several matches when priced as favorite. On the other hand, she can surprise everyone on tour with her powerful tennis, even when she seems to be in bad shape.

It’s also important to mention Petra’s horrible record at US Open. The Czech suffers from asthma and the humid conditions at New York are terrible for her.

We suggest to avoid betting on Petra as favorite, while adding her to your betting picks as underdog should be long-term profitable. We also advise to play against her at US Open where she can’t perform at a consistent level.
