WTA Tokyo
The Toray Pan Pacific Open takes place in Tokyo and is played on Hard Court.

Main Contenders
Angelique Kerber is the main favorite for the title and she has done well on this event in last three years reaching twice semifinal and once the final but was never able to win the title. Kerber lost in US Open against Victoria Azarenka is a tremendous battle where both played at very high level but was Vika who claimed the victory.

Kerber starts with a tough match against Daria Gavrilova and this is an extremely competitive tournament with all seeded players in top 15 so can’t see much value on Kerber to win the tournament at 6.00 at Bet365.

1st seed and last year finalist Caroline Wozniacki will look to bounce back from a disappointing early loss at US Open. Caroline had a tough US Open series with some physical problems and only won 4 of 9 matches this summer in North-America.

Caroline is on top half of draw with a strong possibility of facing Kerber in quarterfinals, that should be a very demanding match for both and the winner might struggle to recover for the next round. Once again there isn’t value on this main favorite at 7.00 tennis odds on Bet365.

Player to Keep an Eye On
Caroline Garcia has an outstanding forehand and can generate huge power with her groundstrokes. However she needs to feel confident to play her tennis or she just collapses with unforced errors after unforced errors which already happened to her on clay and grass this year. After couple of months with poor results, the French raised her level on Hard Court and played much better on North-America.

The draw on this event gives her chances to go far, the two seeds on her quarter are Ana Ivanovic (Garcia already defeated the Serbian three times this year) and Carla Suarez Navarro (who doesn’t win a match in months). The first match won’t be easy against Camila Giorgi but if she can pass that her chances to go far are good and clear value on her at 21.00 on Bet365 to add to our tennis picks.
