The music industry’s biggest night of the year, the Grammy Awards, will be televised live Sunday starting at 7:30 p.m. ET. Below we discuss which artists, albums and songs have the best betting value on the board.

Album of the Year

DAMN. -- Kendrick Lamar -410

24K Magic -- Bruno Mars +750

Melodrama -- Lorde +900

4:44 -- JAY-Z +1200

"Awaken, My Love!" -- Childish Gambino +1900

Lamar looks like a shoo-in to take home Album of the Year, and the Grammy odds are reflecting exactly that. But, I’ll be DAMNned if lay -410 on what could be a rather expensive lesson in counting my Grammys before they’re announced. The industry buzz is that Lorde could capture the hardware as a bit of Melodrama surrounding this year’s award. Votes for the other four nominees could be split among those who favor R&B and hip-hop, while Lorde stands alone in this category. Let’s throw a few bucks down on the album many consider to be the best of the year despite the heavy lobbying for Kendrick’s newest creation.

Best New Artist

Alessia Cara -180

SZA +300

Khalid +850

Julia Michaels +900

Lil Uzi Vert +1800

The Best New Artist hails from the Great White North and the odds on Cara, although chalky, are not intolerable. She’s a product of YouTube, but she’s got more brassiness than just another girl with a nice voice. Cara has street cred as well, collaborating with producer Zedd on her song “Here” and rapper Logic in which she was featured, along with Khalid, in his groundbreaking track 1-800-273-8255. Lay it and like it.

Free Grammy Pick: Alessia Cara -180

Record of the Year

Despacito -- Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring J. Bieber -280

HUMBLE. -- Kendrick Lamar +350

24K Magic -- Bruno Mars +700

The Story of O.J. -- JAY-Z +3000

Redbone -- Childish Gambino +3000

Of the five nominees, the one with the most value is JAY-Z’s The Story of O.J. It’s another in a long line of magically woven storytelling by the music impresario. But, there is no value in losing, goes the age-old gambling axiom of which we heartily subscribe. Therefore, we turn our attention to Kendrick Lamar and Humble. It’s a solid message from a white-hot talent that is sure to catch the attention of the voters. And at +350 there’s plenty of value there as well in our Grammy picks.

1-800-273-8255 -- Logic feat. Alessia Cara & Khalid -120

Despacito -- Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring J.Bieber +190

That's What I Like -- Bruno Mars +470

4:44 -- JAY-Z +1400

Issues -- Julia Michaels +2000

Despacito gets the nod in this category as Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee got a little assist from their buddy Bieber. It’s not surprising that new kids Cara and Khalid are favored, but this one belongs to the older folks. This song got major play when it was released and should be the winner in a category that may be more of a jump-ball than any other.
