Expect another battle when Stoke City and Leicester City meet up in Premier League action this weekend. We've reviewed the soccer odds and believe we have a good feel for the outcome.

Odds Overview
The Potters are listed in the +135 to +140 range to earn all three points on their home pitch against the Foxes. That means they're tipped as the favorites (albeit not by much), with Leicester available for backing at right around +200 at most of the top sportsbooks we've looked over.

A draw doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility whatsoever either, with soccer odds listing that option at approximately +240. It appears as if we'll be seeing a highly competitive match with very little separating these two scrappy outfits.

Stoke City
If the season were to end today, the Potters would finish in 18th place and would thus be relegated down to the Championship. Sure, we've got tons of matches left to play, but that should give you a sense of how badly Stoke City has been struggling so far in the EPL season. They've only earned two points through five league matches.

Last weekend the Potters were completely outplayed in a 2-0 away loss to Arsenal. The Gunners held an incredible 69 percent of the possession and totaled 20 shots, with 10 of them coming on target. Stoke meanwhile only had five total shots, with three on goal.

Needless to say, the Potters will be eager to right the ship, especially since they'll be back at home in front of their adoring supporters. The Britannia has been a fortress for Stoke at times, but so far the team hasn't come through when playing there. Will that change this weekend? Things surely can only get better from here after such a brutal start.

Leicester City
Wow, what a start we've seen out of the Foxes. If you can believe it, they're in second place in the table right now, having earned 11 points while still not losing once yet this season. They've beaten Sunderland, West Ham and Aston Villa and drawn with Tottenham (at home) and Bournemouth.

One of the biggest surprises of the campaign so far, Leicester has to be incredibly high on confidence, particularly after topping the Villains 3-2 at home last week. Ritchie De Laet, Jamie Vardy and Nathan Dyer all found the back of the net, while Riyad Mahrez was instrumental going forward once again, notching two assists in the victory.

Mahrez and Vardy have both been fantastic early on, with the former compiling a team-leading four goals and having a hand in a number of goals already. Vardy has made his presence felt too, scoring three times to go with one assist.

Premier League Pick
We've been amazed and impressed with what Leicester City has been able to do early on this season. After finishing 14th last season and proving they belong, the Foxes have stepped up their game even more so in the 2015-16 campaign. No one would have predicted them being in second place in the world's most competitive league.

But alas, here we are, and now Leicester will need to travel to Stoke to take on a Potters side that's been quite disappointing. Recent trends would suggest that the Foxes are the play, right?

Stoke City has been brutal thus far, and as a result we anticipate a lot of people are going to stay away. The general public will see the Foxes are in second place and jump all over them at +200, but we think there's more value on the Potters at home. They've got the quality to turn things around, and we expect that reversal of fortune to start happening sooner rather than later. Therefore, we'll add Stoke to our collection of soccer picks for Saturday.

Predicted Final Score: Stoke City 2 Leicester City 1
