Only eight players left in the biggest tournament of the week in ATP World Tour. Find out our top tennis pick for ATP Vienna quarterfinals that will take place this Friday.

David Ferrer (1) vs Fabio Fognini (8)
After an awful first round, David Ferrer raised the level and destroyed Guillermo Garcia-Lopez by 6 – 1 6 – 1. David was very close from elimination against Albert Ramos-Vinolas, after losing the first set by 1 – 6 was facing 0 – 40 in the 6th game of the 2nd set but managed to hold serve and since then controlled the match.

Ferrer’s forehand was outstanding in his match against Garcia-Lopez, playing with a very high pace and much more consistent from the baseline. Ferrer was our selection as the main favorite to win the title and he seems extremely determined in winning the title after being runner up in 2014.

Fabio Fognini won back-to-back matches in an Indoor Hard Court tournament for the first time since ATP Valencia 2013. Fabio can play at a very good level with amazing groundstrokes but is far from consistent and mentally fragile.

After needing three sets to defeat Paul-Henri Mathieu in first round, Fognini dismissed Radek Stepanek in straight sets, not facing a single break point. It was a very solid victory against the Czech, however, Stepanek has been terrible lately.

Despite being able to produce a very high level of tennis, there are certain match-ups where Fabio shows up in court with a terrible mind-set. One of them is against Ferrer and the h2h shows that with 8 – 0 for the Spaniard.

Ferrer is just too solid for Fognini and the Italian can’t find a way to overcome David in the baseline rallies. Ferrer is the main favorite for this match and should be able to defeat the Italian once again. Fognini might be able to create some problems in the beginning of the match but won’t be able to maintain a consistent performance with Ferrer emerging victorious at the end.

On this match we’ll select to our tennis picks the value on Ferrer handicap tennis odds.
