Sports handicapper Ian Cameron provides a look at MLB Overnight Betting Lines for the games taking place on Monday, so start your week with a couple of winning MLB Picks.

Cleveland Indians vs. Chicago White Sox (Game 1 Of Doubleheader)
Michael Clevinger will make his second straight spot start for the Cleveland Indians here as he faces Mat Latos for the Chicago White Sox. Clevinger lasted just 5.1 innings in his first start against Cincinnati allowing 4 runs on 5 hits in 5.1 innings of work and is not likely to pitch deep into this game either which means a lackluster Cleveland bullpen is likely to see some action here.

Mat Latos will get the start here for the White Sox and he continues to regress at a rapid rate after a very deceiving strong start to the season in which Latos was more lucky than good. He has allowed 18 runs in his last 20.2 innings of work over his last four starts and he’ll be facing a Cleveland lineup that has scored 59 runs in their last 9 games as their offense has enjoyed a recent surge.

Clevinger’s first start soared Over the MLB odds total and the Over is 3-1 in the last four starts for Mat Latos. I expect runs in bunches between these squads on Monday night with suspect pitching on both sides.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Detroit Tigers
Vincent Velasquez has shown plenty of potential as a future prominent piece of this Philadelphia rotation as he enters this game with a rock solid 2.42 ERA this season and his FIP and xFIP are right within the same range which indicate his strong start to the season isn’t fluky. He should benefit from He may enjoy the pitching edge here against a Detroit team that will be countering with Mike Pelfrey who has been a routine ‘bet against’ pitcher for me this season.

He has been remotely better in his last couple outings against Baltimore and Minnesota but still not great and his home ERA of 6.10 in 4 starts at Comerica Park does not induce much confidence in him shutting down the Phillies in this game. Detroit is just 1-3 in Pelfrey’s home starts this season and I think Philadelphia is deserving of being the slight road favorite here entering this game with a 12-10 winning record on the highway this season. I’ll side with the Phillies to get the victory in this game as my MLB picks.
