Right-hander Julio Teheran (5-4, 5.08 ERA, 1.49 WHIP) starts for the Braves after allowing one earned run on four hits (one home run) and three walks with three strikeouts in six innings to get a no-decision in Friday's 3-2 win against the Mets. Teheran has an alarming 5.08 ERA and just 54 strikeouts in 72 2/3 innings but he does have an impressive 4-0 record with a decent 2.95 ERA in six road starts.

The Nationals will go with Tanner Roark (6-3, 3.87 ERA, 1.30 WHIP), who gave up five runs (two earned) on 11 hits (two home runs) and two walks with four strikeouts over six innings of a 5-2 loss to the Rangers last Friday. It was the third time that Roark has allowed four or more runs over his last five starts but he should turn things around at home against a struggling Braves offense.

I'm looking at 'Under' 9.5 at -110 MLB odds here. Roark was 2-0 with a 1.77 ERA in three starts against the Braves last season while Teheran has been outstanding on the road and he has a 2.14 ERA in nine day starts.

Free MLB Pick: Under 9.5 (-110)

Mariners vs. Twins

Sam Gaviglio (2-1, 2.79 ERA, 1.21 WHIP) will take the hill for the Mariners. Gaviglio has won his last two decisions and he's been impressive in his last two starts, allowing just two earned runs (two home runs) in 11 innings. The right-hander held the Blue Jays to just one earned run (one home run) on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six innings but got a no-decision in a 4-2 win last Friday and he's just 1-1 with a 4.85 ERA in three road appearances (two starts).

Ervin Santana (8-3, 2.20 ERA, 0.89 WHIP) threw a complete game shutout against the Giants last Friday, surrendering just four hits and one walk with five strikeouts. Santana leads the American League with three complete games, ranks second with eight wins and an 0.89 WHIP, third with a 2.20 ERA and 90 innings pitched and fifth with 33 walks and he has a 2.63 ERA with one complete game in seven home starts.

I'm taking the Twins -141 as one of my MLB picks, Santana is 5-1 with a 1.71 ERA and two complete games in six night starts and the Mariners have struggled on the road all season long.
