New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue JaysA Huge Series at the Rogers Centre
New York has managed to hang around as they're just 2.5 games behind the Toronto Blue Jays. In this game, the Blue Jays are a massive favorite with their ace, David Price, taking the mound against Adam Warren.

I have rode the Yankees train to success all season long and I'm not about to get off now. Yesterday, I picked the Yankees as a major underdog against Matt Harvey and came up a winner and even though it appears impossible, I'm fading the Jays at such high betting prices and relying on the Yankees offense and Warren.

Momentum and confidence is so very important. Josh Donaldson has slowed down a bit and ever since Troy Tulowitzki got hurt, the Jays haven't been the same team despite their divisional lead. This game is huge where the division title is concened as it posesses a 2 game swing.

An Innings Limit?
This is not baseball when Matt Harvey holds the Yankees to just 1 hit and strikes out 7 batters in 5 innings and must leave the game due to an innings limit. New York took advantage of his departure in a game that had great importance to them and went on to win 11-2.

The Yankees scored 6 runs in the 6th and 8th innings and managed to crush the Mets as Dustin Ackley and Greg Bird both went deep. These aren't the normal players that the Yankees rely on, but it actually helps them as everyone is getting into the mix due to injuries. Carlos Beltran is on a late season run and Jacoby Ellsbury had a much needed 3 for 5 game as this season has been a disaster for Ellsbury. Look for Ellsbury to get on track in Toronto and use his speed.

David Price
I believe in mometum more than I believe in David Price (16-5 ,2.42). If you look at his splits, all of Price's statisitics are outstanding except for one. He's pitched 21 2/3 innings against New York this season, has allowed 30 hits and a 5.40 ERA. Yes, the Blue Jays should win this game, but the MLB odds board are exceptional,in favor of the Bombers as Price had trouble with them when he was a member of the Tigers.

MLB Pick- New York Yankees +215 at 5 Dimes

Los Angeles Angels vs. Houston AstrosBounce Back Performance For Keuchel?
Both of these teams need this game as they're in the playoff hunt and the Astros attempt to chase down the Texas Rangers for the American League West Division lead that they let get away. Houston is a huge favorite as Dallas Keuchel (17-8, 2.56) get's the start. Keuchel was on a one way trip to a 20 win season until he met the Texas Rangers in his last start. Now, Keuchel just wants the Astros to secure the victory and break away from the Angels as the Astros are at home.

In his last start, Keuchel was beaten uo by the Rangers as he allowed 9 runs and 11 hits in 4 2/3 innings. He can't feel confidence coming into this game and although the Astros are a major favorite in this game and are in a better position in the standings than the Halos, I think all of the pressure is on Keuchel when he faces the likes of Mike Trout and Albert Pujols.

Why Trout is MVP Material and Altuve Isn't
Nothing can be taken away from Jose Altuve as he's flown under the radar and is one of the best players in the game and possesses the speed that most superstars don't. Unfortuantely for him, he's a small man and doesn't possess that game changing ability that Mike Trout does with one swing of the bat.

Trout is one home run away from 40 homers with an OBP % of .394. Along with Bryce Harper, Trout is one of the two best young hitters in the game and anyone, including Keuchel, that faces him will attempt to pitch away from him because they fear him.

Trout is a strikeout machine, but he also receives a ton of walks and more importantly is as clutch as it gets. This is one of those games in which the team with the inferior offensive lineup will "flip the script" on a pitcher who has been rocked recently. Trout is only 7 for his last 25 at bats, but has 4 HR and 8 RBI during that time period.

MLB Pick- Los Angeles Angels + 182 at 5Dimes.
