Los Angeles Dodgers (Ryu) vs. Detroit Tigers (Verlander) 7:05 PM ET
The Dodgers starter Hyun-Yin Ryu has been terrific on the road this season posting an excellent 1.62 ERA in 8 starts, and the Dodgers won 6 of those 8-games. Ryu hasn’t seen any of his previous 7 road starts go over the total. The Dodgers southpaw has displayed very good form over his last 4-starts posting a 2.42 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and an almost 6:1 strikeout to walk ratio. The Dodgers have gone 5-0 in their last 5-games against the money line when Ryu is their starter, and he’s pitching on exactly 5-days of rest.

The Tigers starter Jason Verlander has rebounded nicely from a long stretch of horrible starts. In his last 3-starts the Tigers right-hander has been in stellar form with a 2.84 ERA and a 10:1 strikeout to walk ratio. The Tigers have gone 0-4 in their last 4 versus the money line with Verlander as their starter, and he’s pitching on exactly 5-days of rest. Verlander has been shaky in 9 home starts this season posting a lofty 1.64 WHIP in those outings. The Tigers have gone over the total in 13 of their last 16-games with Verlander as their starter.
Advantage: Hyun-Yin Ryu gets the slight nod here over Jason Verlander, making the Dodgers our recommended betting pick for this game.

San Francisco Giants (Bumgarner) vs. Oakland A's (Gray) 10:10 PM ET
The Giants southpaw starter Madison Bumgarner has been superb in 9 road starts for the Giants this season posting an excellent 1.32 ERA, a 0.91 WHIP, and a better than 6:1 strikeout to walk ratio. Bumgarner has faced the A’s twice in his career, and didn’t fare too well in posting a lofty 5.68 ERA. Bumgarner has gone under the total in 17 of his 21 career starts as a money line road underdog of +100 to +125.

The A's counter with right-hander Sonny Gray who will be making his first career start versus the Giants. The right-hander enters tonight in solid form going 3-0 versus the money line in his last 3-starts, with a 3.79 ERA, and 1.32 WHIP. The A’s are 6-4 versus the money line at home this season with Sonny Gray as their starter, and the right-hander posted a very good 3.20 ERA in those 10-outings.
Advantage: A very small edge to Madison Bumgarner over Sonny Gray
