We're back with another installment of our MLB betting odds report, complete with a number of different picks. There are a number of good matchups on the board, so let's get to the breakdowns and our preferred money-line, run-line and total plays.

Kansas City Royals (Shields) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (Garcia)
Covered by Willie Bee
Danny Duffy put on a master-class showing for the Royals yesterday and now it's James Shields turns to bring the goods. It's rare that you get the chance to back a pitcher of Shields' caliber at a plus price, so Willie is backing Kansas City for tonight's game at Busch Stadium.

MLB Pick: Royals +110

Chicago White Sox (Noesi) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Haren)
Covered by Willie Bee
The Dodgers kicked off the series with a win behind Clayton Kershaw. Dan Haren (5-3, 3.28 ERA) will start tonight, with Hector Noesi (0-4, 5.83 ERA) getting the start for the White Sox. Willie has opted to go for the OVER as one of his MLB picks for game two of the set.

MLB Pick: OVER 7.5

Pittsburgh Pirates (Cole) vs. San Diego Padres (Hahn)
Covered by Ron Patrick
Jesse Hahn makes his MLB debut this evening at home versus the Pirates, who have won two in a row, including last night's series opener. Gerrit Cole (5-3, 3.80 ERA) has been solid lately and Ron foresees him guiding Pittsburgh to a win by two or more runs. Can the Pirates grab yet another victory on the road?

MLB Pick: Pirates -1.5 (+151)

Oakland Athletics (Kazmir) vs. New York Yankees (Kuroda)
Covered by Ron Patrick
The Yankees didn't play their best baseball in their series against Seattle and they now face an even tougher challenge against the Athletics, who lead the AL West with a stellar 35-22 overall record. With Scott Kazmir (6-2, 2.36 ERA) dealing this season, Ron is taking a chance on the run-line tonight.

MLB Pick: Athletics -1.5 (+140)

Philadelphia Phillies (Buchanan) vs. Washington Nationals (Zimmermann)
Covered by Willie Bee
Things just haven't gone smoothly for Jordan Zimmermann this season. He's 3-2 with a 4.07 ERA so far in 2014, with a home date with Philadelphia next on the agenda. Chase Buchanan will pick up the start for the Phillies and Willie is forecasting an offense-friendly game in this spot.

MLB Pick: OVER 7.5

San Francisco Giants (Lincecum) vs. Cincinnati Reds (Bailey)
Covered by Jeff Grant
Both Homer Bailey and Tim Lincecum have had their fair share of troubles this season. For tonight, Bailey and the Reds get the favorites tag at roughly -115 to -120 in the MLB betting odds, while the total is listed at 7.5. Jeff is predicting a victory for the home team in this one, with hopes Bailey can hold his own on the mound.

MLB Pick: Reds -115

Baltimore Orioles (Jimenez) vs. Texas Rangers (Saunders)
Covered by Jeff Grant
It's kind of hard to trust either Ubaldo Jimenez (2-6, 4.65 ERA) or Joe Saunders (0-1, 4.15 ERA), right? Saunders was excellent in his return, but can he keep it going against a powerful Orioles lineup? Jeff doesn't have much faith in Saunders and the Rangers and will roll with Baltimore instead.

MLB Pick: Orioles -102

Los Angeles Angels (Wilson) vs. Houston Astros (McHugh)
Covered by Ross Benjamin
No doubt the Astros have gotten way more out of Collin McHugh (3-3, 2.80 ERA) than they could have hoped for. Will McHugh out-pitch C.J. Wilson tonight? Come back and see us shortly to see which way Ross decides to go with his MLB picks.

MLB Pick: Angels/Astros Under 8.0
