Another busy night of baseball awaits us on Tuesday and our handicappers have already done an abundance of research in preparations for dishing out their top sports picks. Have we found the best MLB betting value?

Texas Rangers (Martinez) vs. New York Yankees (Whitley)
Covered by Ron Patrick
Despite being a huge underdog, the Rangers were able to pull off a win last night, and now they'll try and do it again. Unfortunately for the visitors, Nick Martinez (1-6, 5.10 ERA) has been struggling majorly this season.

Chase Whitley (4-3, 5.10 ERA) hasn't been too good either, but Ron believes the UNDER represents the best value on the board for this matchup.

MLB Pick: UNDER 9

Los Angeles Dodgers (Beckett) vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (Worley)
Covered by Willie Bee
The Dodgers got the win yesterday behind a solid outing from Hyun-Jin Ryu and now it's Josh Beckett's turn to impress. He's been excellent this season, going 6-5 with a 2.26 ERA.

Pittsburgh turns to Vance Worley, who's 2-1 with a 3.38 ERA in his limited appearances on the year. When it comes to making his MLB picks, Willie thinks we need to keep backing the Dodgers, who are a mighty impressive 31-21 on the road in 2014.

MLB Pick: Dodgers +105

Baltimore Orioles (Gonzalez) vs. Los Angeles Angels (Santiago)
Covered by Willie Bee
With last night's win, the Orioles were able to extend their lead in the division to four games, with both the Yankees and Blue Jays on the losing end. Baltimore has been solid away from home all season long, going 28-21 ahead of tonight's matchup.

We don't blame Willie for thinking the OVER is the best wager for this game. Both Hector Santiago (2-7, 4.32 ERA) and Miguel Gonzalez (4-5, 4.04 ERA) have had their fair share of struggles and these two offenses have a ton of power.

MLB Pick: OVER 8.5

San Francisco Giants (Petit) vs. Philadelphia Phillies (Hernandez)|
Covered by Jeff Grant
The Phillies are wallowing away in last place in the NL East and there doesn't seem to be much hope. They'll be at home to the Giants, who are 27-19 on the road so far this season.

Roberto Hernandez (4-8, 4.22 ERA) and Yusmeiro Petit (3-3, 3.86 ERA) will be on the mound tonight and we don't see much of an edge on either side. The Giants have been playing the better baseball though, so it's not surprising that Jeff likes the road team to win once again.

MLB Pick: Giants -125

Miami Marlins (Turner) vs. Atlanta Braves (Minor)
Covered by Jeff Grant
The Braves lost in extra innings yesterday and therefore remain a game back of the Nationals for first place in the NL East. They're an even 5-5 over their last 10 games, so they'll be hoping for a spark from Mike Minor tonight.

As for Miami, they'll put the ball in the glove of Jacob Turner, who's been awful (2-6, 6.22 ERA) this season. Jeff is shying away from picking a side here and instead thinks we should strongly consider the OVER.

MLB Pick: OVER 7.5

Detroit Tigers (Porcello) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (Anderson)
Covered by Matthew Jordan
There have been no signs of slowing down for the Tigers, who now hold a 6.5-game edge in the AL Central. You have to figure they have a great chance of stamping out another win tonight, with Rick Porcello (12-5, 3.39 ERA) set to take the bump.

The Diamondbacks have Chase Anderson, who's 6-4 with a 3.64 ERA, pitching and he's been solid, meaning runs could be hard to come by. Matthew has two picks in mind: he's liking both Detroit as short favorites and the UNDER.

MLB Pick: Tigers -115 and UNDER 8.5

Houston Astros (Oberholtzer) vs. Oakland Athletics (Kazmir)
Covered by Doug Upstone
We'll have to see if Scott Kazmir's amazing run can continue despite a long layoff due to the All-Star Break. He's been everything the Athletics could have asked for, going 11-3 with a 2.38 ERA, and he'll lead out the hosts as humungous MLB betting odds favorites this evening.

The Astros, just 20-30 away from home in 2014, will have Brett Oberholtzer (2-7, 4.50 ERA) on the mound. Check back soon to see which way Doug goes with his sports picks.

MLB Pick: Oakland to Win on the Run Line
