Looking for an in-depth breakdown of some of the highlight games for tonight's baseball action? We've got you covered with a report on the MLB betting odds that includes our top choices to take to the sportsbooks.

Pittsburgh Pirates (Cole) vs. Cincinnati Reds (Leake)
Covered by Willie Bee
Before anything else, these teams need to finish their suspended game from last night which is currently tied at 2-2. Rain and home runs dominated that contest – will we see more of the same in the nightcap?

Willie doesn't see why not. We've to Mike Leake (1-1, 2.45 ERA) and Gerrit Cole (2-0, 3.46 ERA) on the mound, both of whom have enjoyed solid starts, but Willie still thinks the OVER will come through.

MLB Pick: OVER 7.5

Seattle Mariners (Beavan) vs. Texas Rangers (Ross)
Covered by Willie Bee
Seattle won big last night and now turns to Blake Beavan for what will be his first start of the season. Beavan had a 6.13 ERA in the 2013 season and owns a 4.61 ERA over his career, so let's see if he can fare any better in Arlington this evening.

The Rangers put their faith in Robbie Ross, who's been solid in his first two starts, allowing a total of nine hits and two earned runs over 10 and 1/3 innings. Willie is taking on the chalk tonight and siding with Texas to win and even up the series.

MLB Pick: Rangers -135

Boston Red Sox (Peavy) vs. Chicago White Sox (Johnson)
Covered by Ron Patrick
A slow start out of the defending World Series champions has them at 5-8 overall and 3-4 on the road. They begin a series in the Windy City against the White Sox tonight.

Boston has to like their chances with Jake Peavy (0-0, 2.13) on the mound opposite Erik Johnson, who's gotten beaten up badly (9.58 ERA) in his first two outings. Ron is going a different direction with his MLB picks though and is going to recommend the UNDER.

MLB Pick: UNDER 8.5

Los Angeles Dodgers (Beckett) vs. San Francisco Giants (Lincecum)
Covered by Jeff Grant
Both teams are off to solid starts, with San Francisco at 8-5 overall and Los Angeles a shade better at 9-4. The Dodgers have been outstanding on the road, where they've won seven of eight outright.

Though they're big names, neither Tim Lincecum or Josh Beckett have done well in the early stages. Lincecum has given up 11 runs through his first two starts, while Beckett was tagged for five hits and four runs over four innings in his debut. After some deliberation, Jeff has opted for the Giants as his best bet.

MLB Pick: Giants -115

Chicago Cubs (Hammel) vs. New York Yankees (Tanaka)
Covered by Jeff Grant
The heavy investment seems to be paying off for the Yankees, at least so far. Masahiro Tanaka has looked the park through his first two starts and now gets a crack at the Cubs at home in a very appealing matchup.

Chicago, 2-4 on the road so far, turns to Jason Hammel, who's been very impressive for his new team thus far, going 2-0 with a 2.63 ERA. There's value out there for the taking in Jeff's eyes and he'll be all over the Cubs at almost +200.

MLB Pick: Cubs +190

Atlanta Braves (Hale) vs. Philadelphia Phillies (Lee)
Covered by Matthew Jordan
The Braves, winners of four straight, won a wild one last night and hope to keep momentum going with what would be a great win over Cliff Lee. Lee has gone 2-1 with a 5.50 ERA so far, but is always capable of a shutdown performance on his day.

As for Atlanta, they'll put the ball in David Hale's hands. Hale has been providing some solid innings for the club, but hasn't been able to log a lot of innings in the process. Matthew has looked over the MLB odds and feels like we should lay the chalk and go with Philadelphia to even up the series.

MLB Pick: Phillies -140
