We browse the early MLB odds board in search of betting value to end the weekend. Read on and find two selections that will maximize your profits while you enjoy UFC Fight Night 113.

Blue Jays vs. Tigers

Right-hander Marco Estrada (4-6, 5.17 ERA, 1.44 WHIP) takes the hill for the Blue Jays after a poor outing against the Yankees on July 5, when he gave up six earned runs on five hits (two home runs) and four walks with five strikeouts in just 4 2/3 innings to get a no-decision in a 7-6 win.

Estrada has failed to pitch past the fifth inning in four of his last five starts, he's winless since May 27 and he's just 2-4 with a 5.37 ERA in 10 road starts.

Anibal Sanchez (1-0, 5.89 ERA, 1.42 WHIP) will get the ball for the Tigers after a solid outing against the Giants on July 6, when he allowed just two earned runs on five hits and zero walks with eight strikeouts in six innings of a 6-2 win.

Sanchez is now 1-0 with a 3.12 ERA in four starts and the current Blue Jays lineup is hitting just .239 against him. I'm taking the Tigers at home at -104 MLB odds here.

Cubs vs. Orioles

Jose Quintana (4-8, 4.49 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) will make his first start for the Cubs, who acquired him on Thursday after trading outfielder Eloy Jimenez, pitcher Dylan Cease and infielders Matt Rose and Bryant Flete to the White Sox.

Quintana gave up three earned runs on five hits (one home run) and two walks with 10 strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings in his last appearance for the White Sox on July 8, getting a no-decision in a 5-4 win against the Rockies. The left-hander has 109 strikeouts and just 40 walks in 104 1/3 innings of work.

Ubaldo Jimenez (4-4, 6.67 ERA, 1.51 WHIP) takes the hill for the Orioles after getting a win despite a poor effort against the Twins on Sunday, when he allowed four earned runs on four hits and four walks with three strikeouts in just five innings of an 11-5 victory.

Jimenez is just 1-0 with a 7.24 ERA in six home appearances (five starts) and the current Cubs lineup is hitting .296 against him, with Jon Jay going 3-for-8 (.375) with two doubles, one home run and two RBI. I'm backing Quintana and the Cubs -140 here with my MLB picks as the change of scenery is exactly what he needs.
