We browse the early MLB odds board in search of betting value on Saturday's card. Read on and find two selections that will maximize your profits before the Canelo vs. GGG super fight.

Diamondbacks vs. Giants

Right-hander Zack Greinke (16-6, 2.99 ERA, 1.05 WHIP) takes the hill for the Diamondbacks after a dominant effort against the Rockies last Monday, when he gave up two runs on five hits with no walks and six strikeouts in seven innings to get a no-decision in a 5-4 loss. Greinke is 1-0 with a 3.09 ERA in two starts against the Giants and he has a 1.93 ERA in his last two appearances.

Madison Bumgarner (3-8, 3.55 ERA, 1.11 WHIP) starts for the Giants, trying to avoid losing his third straight outing. Bumgarner allowed six earned runs on 10 hits (one home run) with a walk and four strikeouts through five innings of an 8-1 loss against the White Sox last Sunday and now he's surrendered 11 runs through 11 innings over his last two starts. I'm looking at the Diamondbacks at -143 MLB odds here, as Bumgarner hasn't looked dominant as of late.

Rangers vs. Angels

Cole Hamels (10-3, 4.05 ERA, 1.18 WHIP) will start for the Rangers after beating the Mariners on Monday, when he gave up three earned runs on six hits (two home runs) and a walk with seven strikeouts in six innings of a 5-3 win. It was Hamels' first quality start since August 21 against the Angels and the Rangers need him to pitch like the ace he is if they want to make a run to the postseason.

Parker Bridwell (7-2, 3.94 ERA, 1.27 WHIP) will make his 18th appearance (17th start) for the Angels, as he looks for his first win since August 13. Bridwell pitched well against the Mariners last Sunday, allowing two earned runs on seven hits and one walk with two strikeouts in six innings to get a no-decision in a 5-3 win but he's just 3-2 with a 4.59 ERA in nine home appearances (eight starts). I'm taking the Rangers with my MLB picks, Hamels is 2-0 with a 2.36 ERA in four starts against the Angels and Bridwell has an 8.00 ERA over his last two starts.
