We browse the early MLB odds board in search of betting value on Sunday's games. Read on and find two selections that will maximize your profits before the All-Star break.

Royals vs. Dodgers

Left-hander Danny Duffy (5-4, 3.51 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) takes the hill for the Royals after returning from an oblique injury to win Tuesday's start against the Mariners, when he gave up two earned runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings. Duffy has a 4.10 ERA in seven road starts and he may still have some rust after spending over a month on the disabled list.

Clayton Kershaw (13-2, 2.19 ERA, 0.89 WHIP) will get the ball for the Dodgers after winning his sixth straight start last Tuesday, when he threw seven scoreless innings, surrendering just two hits and two walks with 11 strikeouts in a 4-3 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Kershaw hasn't allowed an earned run over his last 20 innings of work (three starts) and he leads the National League with 13 wins and ranks second with 123 1/3 innings pitched, 146 strikeouts, a 2.19 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP and he's 7-1 with a 2.51 ERA in 10 home starts. I'm taking Kershaw and the Dodgers -1.5 at -140 MLB odds.

Tigers vs. Indians

Michael Fulmer (8-6, 3.20 ERA, 1.10 WHIP) will start for the Tigers after beating the Giants 5-3 on Tuesday, when he gave up three earned runs on five hits (two home runs) and one walk with five strikeouts over eight innings.

Fulmer has a decent 2.16 ERA with one complete game in seven road starts and he ranks sixth in the AL with eight wins, 109 2/3 innings pitched, a 3.20 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP.

Corey Kluber (7-3, 2.85 ERA, 0.97 WHIP) will make his 14th start of the season after an incredible effort against the Padres last Tuesday when he allowed just one earned run on five hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts over eight innings.

Kluber took a tough 1-0 loss because his offense and defense didn't help him but he still made history with his fifth consecutive game with 10 or more strikeouts, an Indians record.

The right-hander is 5-0 with a 2.85 ERA in seven home starts and he ranks second in the American League with a 0.97 WHIP and two complete games and fourth with a 2.85 ERA and 115 strikeouts. I'm looking at Under 8 (-105) for my MLB picks in what promises to be an exciting pitching matchup.
