We have reviewed the MLB odds being offered and have locked on to a pair of totals for Monday night. Let’s crush our bookmaker with our MLB picks tonight!

8:40 PM EDT Dodgers (26-21-2 O/U) vs. Rockies (25-22-1 O/U)
The Rockies return home to host a three-game set with the Dodgers after four of their last five games going low in the MLB odds. Last night was another low scoring affair in which Colorado won their fourth game in-a-row by defeating the Phillies 4-1 at Citizens Bank Park. Tonight they will trot out veteran righty Kyle Kendrick (6.38 ERA, 1.40 WHIP) to the hill who recorded his first win in nine starts in his last outing against the Reds Wednesday night in which he allowed four earned runs on only five hits but two of those hits were long balls. Ultimately he wound up on the right side of the decision as the Rockies defeated Cincinnati 6-4.

Big Blue dropped a 3-1 decision to the Cardinals last night and has now gone under in MLB odds in four straight contests. The Dodgers have tapped Clayton Kershaw (3.86 ERA, 1.16 WHIP) for tonight’s opener who finally got on track in his last appearance where he blanked the Braves and allowed only four hits through seven innings en route to an 8-0 decision.

The teams have met nine times this season with the over cashing in six of nine occasions. And tonight we have a pitcher in Kyle Kendrick who has had his share of issues against the Dodgers registering a 6.29 ERA and a 1.679 WHIP in 12 career starts. Meanwhile Kershaw has not been his usual self this season with an ERA well over four before his last outing.

Betting trends to consider:

Kyle Kendrick is 0-5 with a 5.14 ERA over his last six starts against the Dodgers.

The Rockies are hitting .324 and are averaging 7.8 runs per game over their last five played at Coors Field.

Clayton Kershaw is 0-2 with a 5.24 ERA away from Dodger Stadium this season and all three of his starts against Colorado have gone over the posted MLB odds total.

This one looks like it has a good chance of going over when you factor in the history between these teams, the pitchers involved and the thin air of Mile High.

8:10 PM EDT Orioles (21-25-3 O/U) vs. Astros (23-26-2 O/U)
Tonight begins a four-game set between the O’s and the Astros with host Houston dropping three of their last four while Baltimore has bowed in their last two. Ubaldo Jiminez (3.14 ERA, 1.16 WHIP) gets the start for the Orioles and he will be opposed by Brett Oberholtzer (3.00 ERA, 2.33 WHIP). The 25-year-old Oberholtzer has been on and off the DL this season but he returns sooner than expected to face a team to whom he has allowed only one run and seven hits over 14 innings of work.

The Orioles hope Jiminez can stop their two game slide as the veteran right-hander has a 4-0 record with a 2.56 ERA in 10 career starts versus Houston. However, these are not your father’s Astros yet we should note that their offense has been sputtering as of late. Excluding a 10-8 slugfest against Detroit on May 24th the ‘Stros have managed only 22 runs over their last eight games while the O’s have averaged only 2.7 runs per game over their last 10 contests.

This one looks like two floundering offenses against two decent pitchers who have had success in the past. Five of the last seven meetings between these clubs in Houston have gone under the MLB odds total. Go low here for your MLB picks.

MLB Pick: Play under 8 (-110) at GTBets.
