Which three games are included in tonight's MLB odds report? You'll have to come in to find out. Our cappers have released their favorite picks of the day, and we're recommending two total plays as well as a money-line selection.

Texas Rangers (Tepesch) vs. Houston Astros (McHugh)
Covered by Ron Patrick
Here we have two of the worst teams in baseball. The Astros, at 56-78 overall and 30-38 at home, will do battle with the Rangers, who are 52-80 overall and 28-40 on the road.

Collin McHugh starts for Houston and will look to improve on his 6-9 record, 3.02 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. McHugh has surrendered two or fewer earned runs in five consecutive starts, and hasn't picked up a losing decision since late July.

The Rangers have Nick Tepesch (4-8, 4.45 ERA, 1.33 WHIP) pitching tonight. Tepesch was tagged for seven hits and six runs by Kansas City in his latest start, which broke a string of four consecutive solid starts for the right-hander.

With his preferred MLB selection, Ron sees the most value in the 'Over'. He doesn't trust these pitchers and will back the two offenses to come through at the plate.

MLB Pick: 'Over' 8 at 5Dimes

Oakland Athletics (Gray) vs. Los Angeles Angels (Wilson)
Covered by Jeff Grant
Tonight's showdown, which features the two top teams in the AL West, will pit C.J. Wilson and the Angels against Sonny Gray and the Athletics. Current MLB odds show there's not much separating the division contenders, with both teams available at -105 at certain sportsbooks.

Let's start with Wilson, who's 10-8 with a 4.45 ERA and 1.41 WHIP on the season. It hasn't been his most effective campaign, that's for sure, but the left-hander has looked great as of late, allowing only four earned runs over his last three starts spanning 18 and 1/3 innings.

Gray checks in at 13-7 with a 3.00 ERA and 1.21 WHIP, and he's coming off one of his more successful assignments of the season. He went 8 and 1/3 innings, giving up six hits and three runs in a 5-3 win over this same Angels team. Will we see more of the same tonight?

Jeff thinks so. Gray has led Oakland to a lot of success in matchup against division opponents, and with Wilson's questionable command issues this season, Jeff has decided to put his faith in the Athletics. At a short price, Jeff is all over Oakland to get a crucial divisional win.

MLB Pick: Athletics -105

Atlanta Braves (Minor) vs. New York Mets (Niese)
Covered by Willie Bee
We close out with another division battle, this time featuring the Mets and Braves. Tonight's starters will be Jonathon Niese and Mike Minor.

Niese, who's 7-9 with a 3.47 ERA and 1.30 WHIP, has been pretty solid for New York throughout the season, but comes in having lost five of his last seven starts. His ERA has risen from 2.78 to 3.47 over his past 10 assignments.

As for Minor, he's shaken off a very rough first half to post some much better lines in recent weeks. He's given up three or fewer earned runs in three starts in a row, so we'll have to see if he can keep up his improved pitching this evening.

Indeed, Willie sees both Minor and Niese pitching well enough to help keep this game's total 'Under' the posted total. It's a relatively low number on the board, so the two starters will need to be on top of their game for the total play to cash.

MLB Pick: 'Under' 7 at Bet365
