There are six games that we're looking closely at in our daily MLB betting odds report. Which pitchers should we ride with and which should we fade with our sports picks? Come check out what our handicappers are thinking.

Texas Rangers (Darvish) vs. Baltimore Orioles (Chen)
Covered by Willie Bee and Jeff Grant
Another day, another loss for the Rangers. That's now four defeats in a row as they prepare for this series finale with the Orioles tonight. Will Texas avoid the sweep?

The Rangers have a great chance at doing so, considering Yu Darvish will be out on the mound. Darvish is 8-4 with a 2.42 ERA on the season and has to be feeling confident following one of his best starts of the season (8.0 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 10 K) against Minnesota.

Still, Baltimore has been the better team in this series and owns all of the momentum. Both Willie and Jeff think that momentum will result in a sweep for the home team.

MLB Pick: Willie: Orioles +105 // Jeff: Orioles +105

St. Louis Cardinals (Martinez) vs. San Francisco Giants (Bumgarner)
Covered by Ron Patrick
As expected, Adam Wainwright was masterful in leading the Cardinals to a 2-0 win last night. It was a much-needed win for a team that's trying to catch Milwaukee in the division.

The Giants, however, seemingly hold the edge in terms of pitching this afternoon, as they'll send out Madison Bumgarner (9-5, 2.90 ERA) opposite St. Louis' Carlos Martinez, who's 1-3 with a 4.13 ERA on the year.

Neither of these offenses have been producing and Ron believes that will continue today, with the UNDER being his best bet.

Tampa Bay Rays (Bedard) vs. Detroit Tigers (Scherzer)
Covered by Ron Patrick
After an impressive three-game sweep of the Athletics at home, the Tigers next welcome the Rays, who are 19-24 on the road and 38-49 overall.

Detroit will be loving their chances of extending their winning streak behind Max Scherzer. The right-hander has gone 9-3 with a 3.64 ERA and just struck out 13 batters in a road win over Houston his last time out.

Tampa Bay calls on Erik Bedard (4-5, 4.21 ERA), a southpaw that's showed good things but for the most part has been inconsistent. Ron is confident in Detroit here and will take them on the run-line.

MLB Pick: Tigers -1.5 (+116)

New York Yankees (Tanaka) vs. Minnesota Twins (Hughes)
Covered by Jeff Grant
Whenever Masahiro Tanaka's on the bump, the Yankees have to be supremely confident in their chances of getting a win.

Tanaka has been something special, going 11-3 with a 2.10 ERA so far, and he'll try to keep it going in Minnesota this evening. The Twins will have Phil Hughes (8-4, 3.58 ERA) pitching, a former Yankee who's settled in nicely to his new home.

That being said, it's hard to fade Tanaka in any matchup. So while New York may have lost five straight, Jeff is still backing them to win on the road tonight.

MLB Pick: Yankees -135

Toronto Blue Jays (Dickey) vs. Oakland Athletics (Gray)
Covered by Jeff Grant
Will a return home be exactly what the Athletics needed?

After getting swept in Detroit, Oakland needs those good vibes again and we'll have to see if they'll get them with Sonny Gray on the mound. Gray (7-3, 3.20 ERA) has been great for the most part throughout the season.

As for Toronto, they've won two straight games and have their eyes set on a great start to this road series. With his MLB picks, Jeff is recommending the UNDER.

MLB Pick: UNDER 7.5

Houston Astros (Oberholtzer) vs. Los Angeles Angels (Shoemaker)
Covered by Matthew Jordan
The Angels are doing everything in their power to catch the Athletics in the AL West and a series at home against the Astros could be exactly what they needed.

Thing is, it's hard to find much of an edge on either side with the way Matt Shoemaker (5-2, 4.50 ERA) and Brett Oberholtzer (2-6, 4.40 ERA) have pitched this season. Neither has been too reliable whatsoever.

However, picks have to be made and Matthew sees value in both Los Angeles on the money-line and the OVER.

MLB Pick: Angels -161 and OVER 8.5
