We are absolutely crushing the sportsbooks over our first few weeks of prop betting and with some fresh Thursday props to take advantage of tonight, I am here to make you some more money with my Thursday MLB Prop picks.
Season MLB Props Record: 5-3 (+2.80 units)
I’m not sure if Bovada has gotten the message that Mookie Betts is really good, but just in case we haven’t beaten it into them by now, tonight may be another chance to do just that.
Betts is coming off a four-hit game last night where he scored four runs and homered twice. He now has multi-hit games in four of his last six contests and while he hasn’t been driving in the runs, he has a total of 32 runs, hits and RBI already this month and he only has 55 at bats.
That is a rate of nearly 0.6 runs, hits and RBI per at-bat this month and considering he is red-hot, I am taking a stab at Betts on the over. The price is a smooth +115 and against a guy like Nick Pivetta, Betts is going to smash.
Pivetta owns a 5.52 ERA and the Red Sox should be good for four or five runs. Their offense has cranked out 17 runs over their last three games and with righties owning a .428 wOBA off Pivetta this season over 78 batters, I am all in on Betts over 2 ½ runs, hits and RBI for my MLB picks tonight. By all in, I mean he is a great one-unit play!Free MLB Prop Pick: OVER 2 ½ (+115) Best Line Offered: @ Bovada
Nolan Arenado O/U 2 ½ Runs, Hits and RBI
If you’re having déjà vu on Nolan Arenado, it’s because his +115 odds helped us to yet another huge day of MLB Prop Betting on Monday and once again he is in a great spot to cash the over here at home.
Up against left-handed Matt Moore, Arenado is about to crush the ball tonight. Arenado has a .412 wOBA against lefties this season over 72 plate appearances. In those games, he has 7 home runs, 17 RBI, and 20 runs scored, which of course is one of those more every other plate appearance.
Even though Moore has been even worse against left-handers this season (check out the juice on Charlie Blackmon’s run hits and RBI prop tonight) I think Arenado is going to get in on the action as well. Both he and Betts have won us some money this season and I am trying for it yet again on Thursday’s short slate.
Arenado is hitting slightly worse at home than on the road this season, but the friendly hitting confines of Coors Field are too good to ignore for this one. Arenado should also have much heavier juice than -105 for the over here, so once again let’s teach Bovada their Arenado lesson!Free MLB Prop Pick: OVER 2 ½ (-105) Best Line Offered: @ Bovada
