After a 2-0 day and hitting my 2-unit play, I feel a run brewing in my relentless pursuit of the all mighty dollar for the betting public. Let’s look at Friday’s exciting slate games as we place our betting picks.

Capper Catalano’s Record: 166-144 -15.53 Units
Stephen Strasburg got his swag back and Adam LaRoche and Bryce Harper supported the cause with a couple of home runs as we chose the under as the safe play against the Mets at CitiField and we hit out 2- unit play as Jake Odorizzi and the Tampa Bay Rays held onto their playoff hopes with a victory over the lowly Texas Rangers.

Cincinnati Reds (60-61) vs. Colorado Rockies (47-74)
Down In the Dumps
We know that Troy Tulowitzki is out for the season and that’s fine with him. He didn’t want to play on a losing team and was seen at Yankee Stadium while a Rockies game was going on.

To me, that’s disgracing your team; he doesn’t deserve to wear the Colorado uniform. One thing that Tulo was right about is that Colorado doesn’t know how to win baseball games; especially without him

I’ve had a rule in the past about Coors Field and it’s worked out well for me. Take the over the total when the visiting pitcher at Coors Field is average or worse and take the under when an ace visits as odds makers place the highest betting totals in these games.

Cueto  Crushes Colorado?
Johnny Cueto (14-6, 2.05) gets the start for the Reds in a mismatch against Franklin Morales (5-6 ,4.97) and you can see where we’re going with this.

Cueto has been the model of consistency, not giving up more than 3 runs in a game in any of his last 10 starts and going very deep into games. He’s held opposing hitters to a mere .182 batting average and has taken 5 decisions in a row.  Colorado stands no chance in this game and will be looking for help from their home park, where the ball tends to carry.

Colorado is coming off of a 7-3 victory over Cincy, but that has no bearing on this game. A player to watch out for is Ryan Ludwick. He looked mighty impressive yesterday as he smashed a homer in yesterday’s game and being that leadoff hitter, Billy Hamilton has cooled off, the Reds will need to scratch out a few runs to support Cueto’s cause.

Milwaukee Brewers (67-55) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (70-53)
A Sucker For Zack Greinke
I will admit that I get dollar signs in my eyes when I know that Dodgers starter Zack Greinke (12-8, 2.84) is pitching.Lately, Greinke has been either hit or miss and a ferocious Dodgers offense seems to not give him an ample amount of run support during his starts.

In this game, they will need to do so as Milwaukee is one of the most improved teams in baseball and doesn’t want to relinquish their lead in the National League Central Division. The Dodgers get the edge because they’re at home, have the advantage at starting pitcher with Greinke and are coming off of strong win against the Atlanta Braves.

Table Setter
I was really impressed by Dee Gordon’s ability to get on base yesterday by any means necessary. Once on the basepaths, Gordon is a holy terror. Gordon is a frail looking man, but has jet speed and his job is to get on base whether it be by bunt, dink, or dunk.

Yesterday, Gordon did it all in Los Angeles’ 6-4 win at Turner Field over Atlanta. Gordon was 3 for 4 with 4 runs and 2 stolen bases. Ladies and gentlemen: This man is dangerous! He’s also supported by Yasiel Puig and Adrian Gonzalez who each had 3 hits apiece yesterday afternoon. Gonzo has gotten his stroke back and that means trouble for the Brew Crew at Dodger Stadium.

Free MLB Pick: Los Angeles -167 at 5 Dimes 2- Unit Play ( We’re going to take a big risk and lay a massive amount of juice on this MLB pick)
